Start in the heart of Berlin at The Brandenburg Gate, then cycle a short distance along the well-known Berlin Wall Cycle Path along the way and discover a part of Germany's history. Over the next three days, you will cover approximately 65 km daily, passing through towns such as Zehdenick, Neustrelitz, and... Waren including getting to know the Müritz region. You decide. The Baltic Sea region has its own special charm: For example, on the 6th day of your trip to Güstrow (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), there are plenty of ways to experience the city. The following day, you'll follow the Bützow-Güstrow Canal from Güstrow to Rostock , the beautiful Hanseatic city on the Baltic coast. Rostock lies directly on the Baltic Sea Cycle Route and will enchant you with its charm. The medieval brick Gothic architecture makes the old town, with its numerous churches, a truly unique place. Swimming enthusiasts will also find a fantastic spot for relaxation in the Baltic Sea, where you can enjoy the fresh sea air and the fine sandy beach . After your stay, you'll be taken from Rostock to Gedser by ferry in two hours.
You are now on the Danish mainland. The Berlin-Copenhagen cycle route will remain your constant companion for the last third of your journey. You will cycle along the coast to the historic merchant town of Stubbekøbing , from where you will take two ferry crossings to the islands of Bogo and Møn.
