The Oder Lagoon Cycle Route, formerly known as the Mecklenburg Lakes Cycle Route, stretches approximately 444 kilometers from Lüneburg in Lower Saxony to Ueckermünde on the Szczecin Lagoon in Western Pomerania.   • Route: Start in the historic Hanseatic city of Lüneburg, along the Elbe through the Elbe valley meadows, past Bleckede and Hitzacker, to Ludwigslust.
