The 7-day journey begins with your arrival in Passau. The next day you leave the charming three-river city and cycle through the Upper Danube Valley towards Schlögener noose, where you take a ferry ride across the Danube. The journey continues through the wooded Upper Danube Valley and the vastness of the Eferdinger basin, before you reach the thriving Danube city of Linz. The fourth day offers a lot to see like that oldest town in Austria, Enns, untouched floodplain landscapes and the charming shipping and baroque town of Grein.
Then you cycle through the impressive landscape of the Strudengau and Nibelungengau to the Wachau. From Melk you can explore the Wachau and their famous wine places on the way to Krems.
