The Ems-Radweg leads you, mostly along the river, through a charming nature characterized by forests, moors and river meadows. You start in lively Münster and your route takes you to towns such as Meppen and Lingen with plenty of historic buildings. At the latest from 5 days of the trip, the sea makes itself felt: with shipyards, seaports and fishing villages. And here on the North Sea, too, everyday life is pleasantly far away.

The Emscycle path begins in North Rhine-Westphalia in the district of Gütersloh near Hövelhof not far from the town of Schloss Holte-Stukenbrock. From there it goes on an easy stretch without many climbs downstream on the Emscycle path through North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony to Emden in East Frisia Emsestuary to the North Sea.
