Here you can explore the magnificent old town with its impressive cathedral, the residence and the majestic Willibaldsburg. Let yourself be enchanted by the historical atmosphere and enjoy the many cultural highlights of this charming city.

Today your route takes you along the idyllic and car-free Altmühl cycle path through the enchanting juniper heath. Passing the charming towns of Walting, Kipfenberg - the geographical center of Bavaria - and Kinding with its impressive church fortress, you reach Beilngries. Here you will find the baroque town hall, the Frauenkirche and the imposing Hirschberg Castle. Finally, you will reach the day's destination in Riedenburg, where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings.

Today your journey takes you via Bad Abbach along the Danube Cycle Path to the historic city of Regensburg, which is a UNESCO World Heritage city with sights such as the Stone Bridge, the cathedral and the magnificent castle of the Princes of Thurn and Taxis. A special highlight is the tour of the historic Reichstag in the Old Town Hall, including a visit to the torture chamber. Optionally, you can continue on to the impressive Walhalla and then enjoy a relaxing boat trip back (+16 km, 2-hour boat trip, payable on site).

Today you will cycle along the Danube Cycle Path to the spectacular Danube Gorge, where you will board a ship to reach the imposing Weltenburg Monastery. This is not only known for its oldest brewery in the world, but also for its atmospheric beer garden, which invites you to linger. Enjoy the unique atmosphere here before you set off for your day's destination in Bad Gögging.

Today's stage takes you once again along the car-free Danube cycle path, past vast hop fields and idyllic bathing lakes, via Vohburg and Ingolstadt. In Ingolstadt, the historic anatomy building, the New Castle and the enchanting old town await you. Finally, you reach Neuburg an der Donau, where you can explore the historic castle pharmacy and the charming old town.

A real highlight awaits you at the end of your cycling trip: First, you cycle a bit along the Danube before you enter the impressive Wellheim Dry Valley. This unique natural jewel takes you to the medieval town of Dollnstein, where you can fully enjoy the historic atmosphere. In the evening, you return to your starting point and reflect on the week's experiences.
