Drive along the Spree to the Kersdorfer Schleuse. Alternatively, you can also drive over the most beautiful brook valley in Brandenburg. The Schlaubetal is a paradise for nature lovers with many rare plants and animals. For example, eagle owls, kingfishers, otters and pond turtles are native here, as well as 13 different species of orchids. Before you set off on your way back, you should stop off at the Siehdichum forester's lodge, which also offers short hikes. Continue via Müllrose before you reach Gut Klostermühle. A historic ensemble awaits you with exclusive wellness offers at Lake Madlitz.

Today, three castles and a commandery are along the way, with the pewter figure exhibition in Gusow Castle and the beautiful castle park in Alt Madlitz being particularly noteworthy. In Seelow, the Seelower Höhen memorial commemorates the largest battle in World War II on German soil. Many lakes offer you a nice refreshment on the way.

Today you cycle along the Theodor-Fontane-Bicycleweg to the oldest spa town in Mark Brandenburg, Bad Freienwalde. A special gem is the castle on the Apothekenberg, which was already the residence of Foreign Minister Walter Rathenau. We also recommend a detour to the Oderbruch, where you will find endless space, peace and relaxation. By train to Letschin and on the European cycle path R1 the last 13 km back to the hotel.

Today it goes to one of the most beautiful aristocratic residences in Brandenburg, where Theodor Fontane and King Friedrich Wilhelm III. resided. Today's stage is relatively short at just under 33 km. Therefore, a detour to the research town of Müncheberg is a good idea. It has a city museum and you have a wonderful view from the 48 m high tower of the Marienkirche. On the other hand, Buckow, the pearl of Brandenburg's Switzerland, and the nature park await you. Conditionally it is a bit more demanding here, but the beauty of nature and the many tourist offers of the Kneipp spa make up for it. You can end the day with an evening walk through the extensive English park of Steinhöfel.

After a short drive you will reach Fürstenwalde with the St. Marien Cathedral. The journey continues around the Rauen mountains to Bad Saarow, the pretty spa town on the Scharmutzelsee. A round trip on the largest lake in Mark Brandenburg is recommended. With a detour to Storkow, the stage can be extended today. Worth seeing are the medieval old town with the castle, the Hubertushöhe Castle or the 36 m high inland dune Waltersberge.

From the aristocratic residence of Steinhöfel, the route continues to the baroque palaces in Kossenblatt and Groß Rietz. Before that you will meet the manor house in Sauen, here the audio path is recommended. The stage can be shortened to 40 km by using the “Oder-Spree-Tour” cycle path. At the end of the stage you will reach the starting point Beeskow.
