Learn moreIf this island were a woman, she would have the reputation of a pin-up girl with a bit of make-up on; however, if you were to meet her, you would be amazed at how natural she is. Standing on steep rocky coasts, looking out over dreamy bays, you will feel the charm of Mallorca away from the lavish nightlife in some regions. Mallorca can also whisper: in the hilly country in the interior of the island, the wheels of the windmills turn almost inaudibly, and the chirping of cicadas can be heard from the grass. There will also be ups and downs on this bike tour, with some descents and climbs awaiting the traveler. Perhaps a symbol of the eventful, 2000-year history of the largest Balearic island? Coast and inland each have their own charms, and you will get to know both. Experience the imaginative, sometimes bizarre architecture that nature tends to create in the Dragon Caves near Porto Cristo. Your sense of romance will be pampered in picturesque fishing villages and shimmering salt lakes. And of course you will have the opportunity to go swimming. Without having to rent a beach chair hours beforehand. The Spanish call Mallorca "La Luminosa - The Enlightened One". That sounds more like a saint than a pin-up girl.

Welcome and tour information. The stage leads close to the coast to Capocorp Vell, the kingdom of the Cyclopes (remains of the aboriginal dwellings). Typical wind turbines line the way to the Llevant salt pans with the pink and white shimmering salt lakes. The almost white sandy beach "Es Trenc" is considered to be the most beautiful in Mallorca. In Sant Jordi there are more beaches with crystal clear water.
Overnight place: Sant Jordi
Via Ses Salines to a botanical garden. Visit to the picturesque bay of Cala Santanyi. Through small fishing villages to the famous natural bridge "Es Pontas". At Porto Cristo are the dragon caves with bizarre images and shapes. A visit with a guide is definitely worth it!
Overnight place: Porto Cristo/surroundings
The route begins by passing through the typical island villages of Son Carrió and Sant Llorenc, with its 13th-century church of Santa Maria del Bellver, and continues through the picturesque hinterland of the island. Beautifully laid-out paths lead to Artà. Numerous narrow lanes wind their way up the hill on which the town was built. From the Sant Salvador pilgrimage church, you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the surrounding coast, the rolling hills, almond groves, and olive groves. The return journey follows a disused railway line to Son Servera and then on to the coast.
Overnight place: As on the previous day Porto Cristo/surroundings
You start in Porto Cristo and cycle through the sleepy village of Son Carrio to Manacor. Here, the famous Majoricas artificial pearls are made, which are sold in numerous shops alongside souvenirs and handcrafted ceramic items. Via Petra, where a typical Mallorcan lunch awaits you, and Santa Margalida, the route leads through some of the island's most enchanting landscapes to C'an Picafort. You end the day relaxing by the sea.
Overnight place: C'an Picafort
Today's route takes you along the coast to Alcudia and via Pollença to the Sierra de Tramuntana mountain range. A transfer will take you to the Lluc Monastery and then on to an altitude of 1200 meters, passing the large reservoirs that serve as Mallorca's water supply. The descent by bike leads you to Fornalutx, one of Spain's "most beautiful villages," where you can enjoy an excellent paella at a cozy terrace restaurant. Afterwards, you'll cycle through orange and lemon groves down to Port de Sóller, one of the island's most charming fishing villages.
Overnight place: Port de Soller
Breathtaking views over the sea open up the last cycling stage again. Passing the picturesque villages of Deia and Valldemossa, we head along the rugged west coast with its fascinating landscape in the direction of Palma. You should definitely explore the island's capital with its narrow streets and wide squares before you take the cycle path along the sandy beach back to the starting point of the journey.
