You walk between the scattered settlement of Burg and the "secret capital" Lübbenau on romantic paths along small streams, Spreewald meadows and old deciduous forests. On the way you will learn a lot about the Sorbs and numerous rustic inns invite you to stop. Experience one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Germany, which is also ideal for inexperienced and older hikers due to its flatness.
On their own. The largest municipality in Germany in terms of area is an ideal starting point for your hike through the Spreewald. With over 200 navigable rivers and 300 bridges, it is also known as the Venice of the East. You can get to know Burg with a short hike and then end the day in the Spreewald Therme.

On your hike today you will go through all three districts of Burg. At the beginning, a pottery workshop shows Spreewald craftsmanship. From a small hidden harbor you can then set off on an individual boat trip with guaranteed seclusion. From the 33 m high Bismarck Tower you have a wonderful view of the surrounding area and in the adjacent beer garden you will find everything you need for your physical well-being. In Burg, the old Spreewald train station invites you to visit before you head home via the spa and legend park.

Your hiking trail leads you through the scattered settlement to the Spreehafen Waldschlösschen. In addition to a boat trip, you can also grab a paddle and take a tour through the river labyrinth with a stop at the Polenzschänke or the Waldhotel Eiche. On the short circuit, you will then pass the show craft farm, where you can enjoy art and crafts in idyllic surroundings. On the other hand, your feet look forward to a visit to the barefoot park on the longer tour. There is a "bottomless" pampering program at twelve stations.

Today we head to the Spreewald metropolis of Lübbenau on the European hiking trail E10. Between Leipe and Lehde you hike on one of the loveliest sections of trail along Fliess through the untouched high forest. In Lehde, the pocket-sized lagoon village (fontane), in addition to countless places to stop for refreshments, the open-air museum and the only cucumber museum in Germany await you before you meet the colorful hustle and bustle of the market at the large harbor in Lübbenau.

The first destination today is the Rabe cucumber factory in Boblitz. After the near-natural boat ferry port, you cross the Südumfluter and hike through a typical forest and meadow landscape along the forest ditch to the Dubkowmühle. Delicious regional dishes await you here. Well strengthened, it is now not far to Bicycledusch, where you should visit the farm shop and café at the end of today's tour. A detour to the Slawenburg is recommended for all those interested in history. By bus
(in your own direction) it goes back to Lübbenau.
Overnight place: Like the day before in Lübbenau or the surrounding area
According to the motto: "You have to cross 14 bridges...", you will reach the traditional Wotschofska inn, which was built in 1894, along a wonderful hiking trail. Afterwards, the oldest inn in the Spreewald, the Polenzschänke, awaits you. Alternatively, you can also continue your hike at the beautiful rest area at the Kannomühle and the Theodor-Fontane-Weg and get to know the Spreewald from its most rustic side again. Finally, past the Waldschlösschen harbor, the well-known E10 hiking trail will take you back to your hotel.
