Day 1: Arrival in Salzburg

Arrive on your own and hand over the travel documents.

Day 2: From Salzburg to Lake Wolfgang, approx. 50 km

You leave the city of Mozart and cycle through the Salzburg Flachgau via Eugendorf to Thalgau. Driving along the breathtaking Drachenwand you reach the Mondsee. On the Scharfling, the view of Lake Wolfgang opens up. And in a rapid ride it goes down to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen.

Day 3: From Wolfgangsee to Traunsee, approx. 40-50 km

Start the day with a leisurely ferry ride on Lake Wolfgang. Stroll through picturesque St. Wolfgang before you take the boat to Strobl and cycle in the direction of Bad Ischl. The imperial town attracts with culture, cuisine and history, it was not the place of activity of numerous artists and Franz Joseph's summer residence. Following the leisurely river Traun you reach Ebensee. Drive along the Traunsee to Altmünster.

Day 4: From the Traunsee to the Attersee, approx. 35-40 km

Like a fjord, the Traunsee squeezes between the Traunstein and Höllengebirge mountains. You cycle towards the ceramic town of Gmunden. Take your time for the Seeschloss Ort and the beautiful lake promenade before heading through the Aurach Valley towards Lake Attersee. Literature fans make a detour to the Thomas-Bernhard-Haus in Ohlsdorf before reaching the destination for the day.

Day 5: From Attersee to Mondsee, approx. 35 km

Follow the turquoise Attersee to Unterach. After a 2 km long narrow valley, the legendary Mondsee opens up. Cycle along the northern shore to the picturesque lakeside town of the same name. As a Stone Age fan, you can inquire about the prehistoric pile dwellings, while as a gourmet you will certainly prefer the specialties of the region.

Day 6: From Mondsee to the Salzburg Lake District, approx. 45 km

You cycle comfortably through the Mondseeland, passing the natural Irrsee until you reach the Salzburg lakes. Be sure to try: the beer specialties from the Trumer brewery.

Day 7: From the Salzburg Lake District to Salzburg approx. 45 km

The Salzburg lakes invite you to take a dip in the cool water at numerous natural bathing spots. On the leisurely ride back to Salzburg, one last glimpse of the glorious mountains of the Salzkammergut opens up.
