Day 1: Arrival in Constance
On their own. Enjoy the winding streets of the old town and the Mediterranean climate. You can find living Middle Ages in the Rosgarten Museum. The cafeteria in the inner courtyard invites you to linger.

Day 2: Constance - Stein am Rhein region, about 30-40 km
You cycle through picturesque towns along the Untersee to medieval Stein am Rhein. Hohenklingen Castle, which dates back to the Middle Ages, lies high above the town. Visit the Lindwurm Museum before you get to Gailingen.

Day 3: Stein am Rhein region - Überlinger See region, approx. 50-70 km
The Bicycleolfzell Minster and the Mettnau peninsula, one of the largest nature reserves on Lake Constance, are further highlights. Via Bodman-Ludwigshafen and Überlingen you reach the monastery church Birnau. A visit to the stilt houses from the Stone and Bronze Ages is recommended in Unteruhldingen.

Day 4: Überlinger See region - Friedrichshafen region, about 25-40km
Meersburg, the city of museums, invites you into the Middle Ages with its romantic corners. The sea route takes you to the Zeppelin city of Friedrichshafen, where you should definitely pay a visit to the Zeppelin Museum.

Day 5: Friedrichshafen region - Begenz/Höchst region, about 35-45km
Today you reach the Lake Constance metropolis Lindau, the border triangle between Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Visit the old town and the lighthouses with the Löwenmole, Lindau's landmark. You will then reach the cultural stronghold of Bregenz. Stroll through the old town or take the cable car to the 1064 m high Pfänder and enjoy the unique view of Lake Constance. You reach Höchst through the nature reserve of the Rhine delta, the largest freshwater delta in Europe.

Day 6: Bregenz/Höchst region - Constance, about 55-65km
Today's route takes you through the Rhine delta to Switzerland. In terms of landscape, the canton of Thurgau offers a wide variety of small villages and huge orchards. A fantastic view of Lake Constance and the impressive foothills of the Alps accompany you to Konstanz. The Sea Life Center awaits you with a fascinating underwater world, a jungle and the rainforest. You can shorten the route by 21 km by taking the train from Romanshorn to Konstanz (on your own).
