Day 1: Arrival in Garmisch-Patenkirchen
Arrive on your own. Take your time to stroll through the city.

Day 2: Garmisch-Patenkirchen - Mittenwald / Klais, "Partnachklamm", approx. 16 km / 5 h
You start your hiking day through the Partnach Gorge, where the water masses of the Wetterstein Mountains meet. It continues over gentle hills and alpine meadows to your overnight stay.

Day 3: Mittenwald / Klais - Leutasch "Leutaschtal", approx. 14 km / 4 h
Your path today leads through the gorge, which was carved directly into the rock with great precision. It goes along the Leutascher Ache into the valley past small villages and flower meadows and is framed by the Wetterstein mountains.

Day 4: Rest day or lake hike, approx. 9 km / 3 h
For today you have two options, either you put in a relaxing day or you go on a hike to the lakes in and around Seefeld. Alternatively, you can also take a trip to one of the Seefeld peaks.

Day 5: Leutasch - Ehrwald "Gaistal natural paradise", approx. 17 km / 5 h
Today you first take the bus to the Gaistal. There you follow the Ganghofer Weg into the alpine landscapes and up to the transition to the Ehrwalder Alm, a backdrop like for a homelandilm made. The place once served as a retreat for the Bavarian writer Ludwig Ganghofer. The cable car takes you down into the valley and then to Ehrwald.

Day 6: Ehrwald - Garmisch-Patenkirchen "Eibsee", approx. 12 km / 4,5 h
On today's stage, you hike step by step up to the foothills of the Zugspitze and to the well-known Eibsee view. Enjoy the Eibsee with a view of the magnificent Zugspitz-Garmisch panorama. Back take the Zugspitzbahn to Garmisch.
