A trip over a poplar-lined dam brings you to the island of Reichenau, where winding streets with beautiful noble and patrician houses can be admired. The route then takes you to the fishing village of Bicycleolfzell. The city enchants with its charming flair and the unique view of the Untersee. Cycle across the Höri peninsula to Stein am Rhein. Stroll through the alleys of the small medieval town and visit the Lindwurm Museum before you reach Gailingen, the pearl of the High Rhine.
Overnight place: Stein am Rhein region
Through picturesque fishing villages you reach Ermatingen. Take your time here and visit the Vinorama Museum. You cycle further along the path to Constance. Discover the Mediterranean climate while strolling through the winding streets of the old town. In the Rosgarten Museum you can learn everything about the living Middle Ages and the cafeteria in the inner courtyard invites you to linger.
Overnight place: Konstanz
The first highlight of today is the flower island of Mainau - a nature experience in every season. Your route leads over the Bodanrück to Bodman with the castle park, which is well worth seeing. You pass the baroque monastery church of Birnau and then reach Uhldingen, which is known for its stilt houses. In Meersburg you take the ferry (on your own) to Constance. If you don't want to cycle the somewhat hilly stage between Wallhausen and Bodman, we recommend taking the ferry from Wallhausen to Überlingen (on your own). The stage is thus shortened to approx. 25 km.
