After arrival and overnight stay in Flensburg, this cycle tour takes you to Kappeln, a true angler's paradise. In the coming days you will cycle on to Eckernförde and Schöneberger Strand. Along the beautiful white sandy beaches we continue to Heiligenhafen. In the last stages you reach Neustadt in Holstein. Via Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand you head towards the Baltic Sea health resort of Travemünde. Water lovers and culture lovers will get their money's worth here. In Lübeck it is worth taking a stroll through the beautiful old town.

Along the Flensburg Fjord, the journey takes you to Glücksburg, one of the most beautiful moated castles in Germany. You continue cycling around the Geltinger Bay through the contemplative fishing to Kappeln.

You should explore Kappeln's pretty little town before continuing your journey. The burial mounds and the Baltic Sea resort of Damp mark your route. Passing the Ludwigsburg manor house, the journey continues to Eckernförde.

Here you can still find the typical North German character. With the fjord steamer from Friedrichsort to Laboe (included).

Pretty seaside resorts and wide beaches will enchant you on this stage. Leave the Hohwacht Bay with its kilometer-long sandy beach.

A short trip to Lübeck Bay, past Dahme and Kellenhusen, to Grömitz. Grömitz is one of the oldest and largest seaside resorts. Further south to the Holstein Baltic Sea town of Neustadt (Holst.).

Mostly along the beaches and beach promenades from Haffkrug, Scharbeutz and Timmendorfer Strand to Travemünde. Bathing facilities are plentiful. Cafes, restaurants, boutiques and shops line the beaches in a colorful succession. Further inland to Lübeck.
