Along the Strelasund it goes under old avenues to Brandshagen to the cormorant colony. On the opposite shore is the Zudar Peninsula. The silhouette of Greifswald Cathedral soon emerges from the city. Enjoy a stroll through the university town in the afternoon.

From Freest there is the possibility to take the ferry (on your own) to Peenemünde. You cycle on quiet paths across the island to the sea side through Trassenheide and dune groves to the seaside resort of Zinnowitz.
