Not to forget Germany's largest island with its famous chalk cliffs and the sophisticated imperial baths Usedoms.

Overview of your benefits
  • Good value for money
  • Tour incl. hotels and luggage transport
  • Extensive route booklet & GPS data
  • Top brand rental bikes bookable
  • Over 30 years of experience

On their own. Take the opportunity to visit the "Queen of the Hanseatic League" with its beautiful old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Overnight place: Lübeck

You leave Lübeck for Travemünde on your own by train (-20 km) or bike.
You can take the ferry to Priwall on your own and cycle to the Baltic Sea resort of Boltenhagen. The journey continues to Wismar Bay in the old Hanseatic city.

Overnight place: Wismar

A trip to the island of Poel? No problem, because this island is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Shortly before Kühlungsborn you pass through Basdorf. Climb the lighthouse and enjoy the breathtaking view over the Baltic Sea. If visibility is good, you can even see the island of Fehmarn.

Overnight place: Rerik, Kühlungsborn, Bad Doberan or the surrounding area

The highlight of today's stage are Heiligendamm, the oldest German seaside resort and the Doberan Cathedral. In terms of landscape, the ghost forest on the steep bank of Nienhagen is a special experience.

Overnight place: Warnemünde or Rostock

With the Warnow ferry (incl.) to Hohe Düne. If you want to learn everything about amber, then a visit to the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten is worthwhile. There is also a beekeeping show nearby, where everything revolves around honey. When you have seen all this, cycle back to the Baltic Sea to your hotel on the Fischland or stay in your booked hotel in Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Overnight place: Graal-Müritz, Ribnitz-Damgarten or on the Fischland

Miles of white sandy beaches invite you to take a refreshing swim. Visit the art museum in Ahrenshoop, the exhibition at Darßer Ort or simply enjoy the atmosphere on the west beach. Discover the beautiful Darss villages of Born and Wieck on the Bodden coast and the lively Baltic Sea health resort of Zingst.

Overnight place: Prerow, Zingst or Barth

From the small Vineta town of Barth, your trip goes along the Bodden to the Strelasund.
A detour to Barhöft to the observation tower gives the visitor a panoramic view of the coastline of Darß, Hiddensee and Rügen.

Overnight place: Stralsund

Via the <strong>integrated datalog</strong> the measuring values can be stored on the humimeter RH5 paper moisture meter and additional data can be added. You also have the possibility to use the Autolog function. This function automatically saves measuring values in adjustable time intervals. Rügendamm, the stage takes you right at the beginning to the first island of the journey - Rügen. After crossing the Strelasund, drive north on the west side and take the Wittow ferry (on your own) to the Wittow peninsula, which is today's stage destination.

Overnight place: Trent, Bohlendorf, Wiek, Breege, Juliusruh or the surrounding area

If you are not afraid of the additional kilometers, it is worth taking a detour to Cape Arkona, a popular destination with a cliff and lighthouses, before the start of the actual stage. Then it goes from Wittow over the "Lange Moor" to the north-east Rügens, where the path leads through the beautiful Jasmund National Park with its beech forest and the famous chalk cliff "Königsstuhl" before reaching the day's destination Sassnitz.

Overnight place: Sassnitz or the surrounding area

From Sassnitz drive south past the historically significant building complex of Prora, which stretches for about 5 km. You will then experience the seaside resorts of Binz and Sellin before the path makes a detour over the scenic south-east tip of Mönchgut. Putbus is reached towards the west.

Overnight place: Putbus, Lauterbach or the surrounding area

From Putbus you drive to the south of the island and leave there Rügen via the Glewitz ferry (incl.). Arriving in Stahlbrode, we head towards the birthplace of Caspar David Friedrich: Greifswald. A visit to the old town, its churches and testimonies to the Swedish period is well worthwhile, and for those interested in art, the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Bildweg leads through the city at 15 stations to the places where the famous painter worked and to his motifs.

Overnight place: Greifswald or the surrounding area

The path to the island takes you past the Eldena monastery ruins, the well-known motif of Caspar David Friedrich Usedom. From Freest there is the possibility to take the ferry (on your own) to Peenemünde. You cycle on quiet paths across the island to the sea side through Trassenheide and dune groves to the seaside resort of Zinnowitz. Old hotels in the Wilhelminian style have preserved the flair of bygone times in Zinnowitz.

Overnight place: Wolgast, Karlshagen, Zinnowitz or the surrounding area

Experience on today Usedom - Germany's No. 1 sunny island - a mix of beach, nature and culture. The wide coastline from Peenemünde to Koserow invites you to take a walk on the beach. The path leads between the Baltic Sea and the backwaters to the three sisters Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck. Heringsdorf, the oldest seaside resort Usedom, is connected to Bansin and Ahlbeck via a beach promenade.

Overnight place: in one of the imperial baths Bansin, Heringsdorf or Ahlbeck

After breakfast, you will travel home on your own or we can book additional nights if you wish.

In some places we would have liked to stay longer. Perhaps the catalog could better show how the trip can be planned and booked with a rest day or extra nights. We waren All in all very satisfied and really enjoyed the bike tour!
