On their own. In Rostock you can expect, among other things, the Marienkirche and in Warnemünde the lighthouse.

Overnight place: Warnemünde or Rostock

With the Warnow ferry (incl.) you sail to Hohe Düne. If you want to learn everything about amber, then a visit to the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten is worthwhile. There is also a beekeeping show nearby, where everything revolves around honey. When you have seen all this, cycle back to the Baltic Sea to your hotel on the Fischland or stay in your booked hotel in Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Overnight place: Ribnitz-Damgarten, Graal-Müritz or on the Fischland

Experience the fascination of the Baltic Sea. You cross a part of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft.

Overnight place: Prerow, Zingst or Barth

From the small Bodden and Vineta town of Barth, your trip goes along the Bodden coast to the Strelasund. In Stralsund await you, among other things, the OZEANEUM (own management) and the Marienkirche.

Overnight place: Stralsund

Along the Strelasund it goes under old avenues to Brandshagen to the cormorant colony. On the opposite shore is the Zudar peninsula. The silhouette of Greifswald Cathedral soon emerges from the city. Enjoy a stroll through the university town in the afternoon.

Overnight place: Greifswald or the surrounding area

The path to the island takes you past the Eldena monastery ruins, the well-known motif of CD Friedrich Usedom. From Freest there is the possibility to take the ferry (on your own) to Peenemünde. You cycle on quiet paths across the island to the sea side through Trassenheide and dune groves to the seaside resort of Zinnowitz. Old hotels in the Wilhelminian style have preserved the flair of bygone times in Zinnowitz.

Baltic Sea Cycle Route Warnemünde - Usedom (without Rügen)

The route from Greifswald to Zinnowitz is too long for a day trip. You always have to take strong winds into account here. That's why we asked for a stop in Wolgast.

Cycle tour Warnemünde - Usedom

The organization of the trip and the advice on booking was very good. Our request for changes to the overnight stays/stage destinations were met to our complete satisfaction. The information on parking in Warnmünde/Rostock could have been more detailed, for example tips on smaller garages with reservation options, parking lot Hansemesse.

Recommended tour with beautiful passages

* The tour consists of beautiful passages along the coast or through extensive forests. The cycle paths are very varied, from narrow paths to asphalt paths and cobblestones. The labeling of the tour is usually sufficient. * The bikes waren in good condition (Kalkhoff). Too bad not every bike had a speedometer/odometer. * The organization by the "Mecklenburger Radtour" was very good, emails were answered within a few hours. The luggage transport worked smoothly. * The accommodations (Cat. II) waren mostly very good and appropriate for the category.
