Overnight place: Warnemünde or Rostock
The bike tour begins in the Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde or in the Hanseatic city of Rostock. The Baltic Sea Cycle Route takes you from Warnemünde or Rostock to Darß, a peninsula with many animal and plant species. It continues to Barth and then along the Bodden Stralsund to Greifswald. On the last days of your cycle tour you will cross the imperial baths of Bansin, Heringsdorf and the island Usedom to Ahlbeck.

With the Warnow ferry (incl.) you sail to Hohe Düne. If you want to learn everything about amber, then a visit to the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten is worthwhile. There is also a beekeeping show nearby, where everything revolves around honey. When you have seen all this, cycle back to the Baltic Sea to your hotel on the Fischland or stay in your booked hotel in Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Experience the fascination of the Baltic Sea. You cross a part of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft.
Overnight place: Prerow, Zingst or Barth
From the small Bodden and Vineta town of Barth, your trip goes along the Bodden coast to the Strelasund. In Stralsund await you, among other things, the OZEANEUM (own management) and the Marienkirche.

Along the Strelasund it goes under old avenues to Brandshagen to the cormorant colony. On the opposite shore is the Zudar peninsula. The silhouette of Greifswald Cathedral soon emerges from the city. Enjoy a stroll through the university town in the afternoon.
Overnight place: Greifswald or the surrounding area
The path to the island takes you past the Eldena monastery ruins, the well-known motif of CD Friedrich Usedom. From Freest there is the possibility to take the ferry (on your own) to Peenemünde. You cycle on quiet paths across the island to the sea side through Trassenheide and dune groves to the seaside resort of Zinnowitz. Old hotels in the Wilhelminian style have preserved the flair of bygone times in Zinnowitz.

Experience on today Usedom - Germany's No. 1 sunny island - a mix of beach, nature and culture. The wide coastline from Peenemünde to Koserow invites you to take a walk on the beach. The path leads between the Baltic Sea and the backwaters to the three sisters Bansin, Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck. Heringsdorf, the oldest seaside resort Usedom, is connected to Bansin and Ahlbeck via a beach promenade.
