Follow two major bike paths on this tour. Follow the Berlin-Copenhagen long-distance cycle path to Rostock and from Rostock along the Baltic Coast Cycle Path Stralsund. Discover the Müritz National Park and the Barlach town of Güstrow. You cycle along the Baltic Sea coast across the Fischland, Darß and Zingst peninsulas, through part of the Western Pomerania Lagoon Area National Park.

You cycle from Oranienburg along the Havel waterway to Zehdenick. In the Mildenberg Museum Park you can experience industrial history up close in what was once the largest brickworks area in Europe.

The Mecklenburg Lake District begins at the “Großen Stechlin”, immortalized in literature by Theodor Fontane. On the tour to Neustrelitz you will pass a large number of smaller and larger lakes. The destination is the former royal seat of Neustrelitz. The castle park, the star-shaped market square and the city complex bear witness to the history of the Grand Duchy of Strelitz.

The stage leads through the Müritz National Park. It is the largest land national park in Germany. This extensive protected area is a refuge for our endangered flora and fauna. The work of the discoverer of Troy comes to life in the H. Schliemann Museum in Ankershagen. You cycle comfortably to the spa Waren (Müritz). Visit the MÜRITZEUM in the afternoon (on your own).

You leave the bustling town Waren (Müritz), the Nossentiner Heide National Park awaits you with extensive forest areas and clear lakes. The Barlach town of Güstrow is soon reached. You should plan a tour of the historic old town, the castle and the Ernst Barlach studio.

Today you cycle along the Bützow-Güstrow Canal to Rostock or Warnemünde.
On the stage you can also take the train from various train stations (on your own) to Rostock or Warnemünde.

Take the Warnow ferry (incl.) from Warnemünde to Hohe Düne. If you want to learn everything about amber, then a visit to the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten is worthwhile. There is also a beekeeping show nearby, where everything revolves around honey. When you have seen all this, cycle back to the Baltic Sea to your hotel on the Fischland.
Overnight place: Graal-Müritz, Ribnitz-Damgarten or on the Fischland
Experience the fascination of the Baltic Sea. You cross a part of the national park Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft.
Overnight place: Prerow, Zingst or Barth
From the small Bodden and Vineta town of Barth, your trip goes along the Bodden coast to the Strelasund. In Stralsund await you, among other things, the OZEANEUM (own management) and the Marienkirche.
