You cycle from Oranienburg along the Havel waterway to Zehdenick. In the Mildenberg Museum Park you can experience industrial history up close in what was once the largest brickworks area in Europe.

The Mecklenburg Lake District begins at the “Großen Stechlin”, immortalized in literature by Th. Fontane. On the tour to Neustrelitz you will pass a large number of smaller and larger lakes. The destination is the former royal seat of Neustrelitz. The castle park, the star-shaped market square and the city complex are testimonies to the history of the Grand Duchy of Strelitz.

The stage leads through the Müritz National Park. It is the largest land national park in Germany. This extensive protected area is a refuge for our endangered flora and fauna. The work of the discoverer of Troy comes to life in the H. Schliemann Museum in Ankershagen. You cycle comfortably to the spa town of Waren (Müritz). Visit the Müritzeum in the afternoon (on your own).

You leave the lively town of Waren (Müritz), the Nossentiner Heide National Park awaits you with extensive forest areas and clear lakes. The Barlach town of Güstrow is soon reached. You should plan a tour of the historic old town, the castle and the Ernst Barlach studio.

Today you cycle along the Bützow-Güstrow Canal to Rostock. On the stage you can also take the train to Rostock from various train stations (on your own).
