From the cosmopolitan city of Berlin with its extensive forests in the north, you first travel on the Oder-Havel Canal via Oranienburg and Eberswalde to Schwedt. The calm and unique beauty of the Oder landscape accompanies you to the Polish city of Szczecin with its magnificent castle. Your path then takes you along the unique Bodden coast Usedom to the largest island in Germany Rügen, with its famous chalk cliff. The destination and end point of your trip is the old Hanseatic city Stralsund.

On your first bike tour, you will roam the extensive forests of the Ruppin lake district along mysteriously interconnected waterways. The well-developed bike path to the north and out of the metropolis will take you to Oranienburg. The palace in the heart of the city is one of the most important baroque buildings in the country, and the adjacent palace park is an inviting place to linger. Here you will board the boat again and travel to Eberswalde. The Eberswalde city lock in the heart of the city is the oldest operational lock in Germany.

First, on the towpath along the Finow Canal through beautiful countryside, past forests, clearings and small hills towards Niederfinow with its impressive boat lift - a visit is possible at any time to Hohensaaten. There, return on board and take the boat to Schwedt. If you like, you can cycle further through the crane resting area of the Auen National Park from Hohensaaten to Schwedt (approx. 32 km).

Today you will drive through the Oder-Neiße- Cycle path through the unique cross-border protected area "Lower Oder Valley International Park". The former Criewen estate houses the national park center of the only floodplain national park in Germany. Once you arrive in Mescherin, you board the ship again and enjoy the boat trip to Stettin. It is considered a green city at the mouth of the Oder and is one of the largest ports on the Baltic Sea. Worth seeing: the castle of the Dukes of Pomerania in the old town.

Today you will spend the whole day on board. After a final narrow passage, the ship arrives on the extensive water surface of the Szczecin Lagoon (Oderhaff). After crossing you will reach Wolgast, the "gateway to the island". Usedom". The medieval old town with the town hall and St. Peter's Church is definitely worth seeing.

Today there are three bike tours to choose from: the short route takes you directly via Zecherin to Peenemünde and gives you enough time to explore the Historical-Technical Museum in the former power station. If the weather is good, the slightly longer tour via Karlshagen with a short detour to the Baltic Sea is also worthwhile, or you can enjoy the long "beach route" via the Baltic Sea resorts of Zinnowitz and Trassenheide with the opportunity to sunbathe on the fine sandy beach. At around 18 p.m. your ship sets sail from Peenemünde and takes you to Lauterbach in the southeast of the island. Rügen (Arrival around 21:00).

You should not miss a visit to the nearby town of Putbus (approx. 2 km) with its well-known "circus". Classicist buildings line this circular square, where all the streets converge. Today's bike tour takes you via Putbus, Garz, Groß Schoritz, birthplace of Ernst Moritz Arndt, Poseritz and Gustow with the well-known village church over the Rügendam after Stralsund, where you will meet your ship again. On a walk through the historic old town of the Hanseatic city, which is located on a small island, you will repeatedly come across extraordinary sights.

The comfort ship MS PRINCESS: with a brightly decorated restaurant, a cozy salon and sun deck. Outside cabins, approx. 10,5 sqm in size, with shower/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, TV, safe and individually adjustable air conditioning.
