On the traces of the former Berlin Wall, this cycle tour offers fascinating impressions. Always following the former wall, you continue cycling at the Brandenburg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie and then to Kreuzberg. From here south to Neukölln. Along the Havel via Babelsberg to Potsdam and then following the northern course to Oranienburg.

Through the Tegeler Fliess nature reserve, you follow the course of the wall along the Reinickendorf city limits to Pankow and Wedding. The tour continues to the former Invalidenstraße border crossing. On the Kronprinzenbrücke, the path leads over the Spree to the Reichstag and the Brandenburg Gate.
Overnight place: Berlin center
At the Brandenburg Gate, the route leads along the former course of the Wall to Potsdamer Platz and on to the former Checkpoint Charlie border crossing with the border museum in Kreuzberg. The East Side Gallery begins at the Ostbahnhof, a piece of wall strip painted by artists. Before continuing your journey, you should make a detour to the Soviet memorial in Treptower Park. You cycle through Treptow's allotment gardens to the former Sonnenallee crossing (known from the authorilmung Leander Hausmanns). You reach Schönefeld and continue cycling past Bukow, between town and fields to Teltow.

You cycle on the route of the former main railway, the first railway in Prussia. Further on you pass the former Dreilinden checkpoint and take the Königsweg through the Berlin Forest to Babelsberg and Potsdam. Use the afternoon to visit Sanssouci Palace (on your own).

Cycle through the landscape of hills, parks and lakes designed by Lenné and Schinkel. Over the Glienicker Bridge it goes idyllically along the Wannsee. By ferry (own management) across the Wannsee and Havel to Kladow. Through the garden city of Staaken and the Spandau Forest it goes to Nieder Neuendorf. You follow the long-distance cycle route Berlin - Copenhagen up to Oranienburg.
