The Black Forest is an impressive area: promising peaks alternate with deep valleys and dark blue mountain lakes. This region has something magical about it and is one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in Germany. The first stages take you from Lake Titisee up to the Feldberg, the highest peak in the Black Forest. It continues through the winter sports resort of Todtnauberg into the beautiful high valley of Bernau. The tour leads through quiet mountain valleys to the banks of the Schluchsee until you finally reach the starting point of your hiking week at Titisee again.

From your hotel you hike down through a quiet forest to the famous Titisee. With a view of the blue water surface, follow the popular Titisee circular route along its shore. You then climb through the nature reserve up into the Bärental. There, a visit to the schnapps museum and a sample of the Black Forest gateau are tempting. It continues via the Behabühl to the Seebach, before it goes steeply uphill again. You can reach the Mathisleweiher via the Silberbergweg - a wonderful idyll in the middle of the forest. Afterwards, beautiful hiking trails lead you down to tranquil Hinterzarten.

Continue through dense forest to the Ramartihof, where you can take a break in the beer garden. Now hike to the Feldsee with its circular, dark-blue expanse of water and follow a narrow path steeply up to the Feldberg ski area. You can continue either up the plateau to the Bismarck Monument or past the House of Nature on wide paths to your accommodation. Today you spend the night in Germany's highest municipality near the top of the pass or directly below the summit in a small mountain hut.

After a short detour to the Hasenhorn lookout tower at the summit, hike on to the Gisiboden Alm, where you can watch grazing cows and grazing cattle.
