In Gottlieben you cross the border to reach Stein am Rhein on the Swiss side. Visit the Lindwurm Museum before continuing to Gailingen.

Today, immerse yourself in the magic of the Munot city of Schaffhausen. The Rhine cycle path then takes you to the 23-meter-high and 150-meter-wide Rhine Falls.

The Hesse Museum in Gaienhofen, the Hermann Hesse House and the Museum Haus Dix pay tribute to the once famous residents.

The world heritage site “Pile Dwellings”, the Birnau Basilica and the Reptile House are waiting for you to explore today. A visit to Salem Monastery and Castle is recommended (+ approx. 17 km).

You pass the medieval town of Meersburg and arrive in Friedrichshafen, where you can learn about the history of airship travel in the Zeppelin Museum.

Right from Friedrichshafen you will come across the largest and most important nature reserve on the north shore: the Eriskircher Ried. Bregenz, known for its lake festival, is nestled in a unique location between Lake Constance and the Pfänder.

A unique panoramic view over the entire Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks awaits you on the 1064 m high Pfänder.

The Swiss shore of the lake awaits your visit with its dreamy lakeside towns. The Kornhaus in the port town of Rorschach can be seen from far away.

Bike tour to the Flower Island Mainau, approx. 15 km: The large park is one of the most beautiful in Europe and is always worth a visit. Hundreds of thousands of tulips bloom in March and April, followed by roses in summer and the most beautiful dahlias in autumn.
Bike tour to the island of Reichenau, approx. 30 km: The famous World Heritage Island of Reichenau is located in the middle of western Lake Constance. Vegetables, herbs and wine grow in the nurseries between the medieval churches. An island for the soul!
Of course you can also visit both islands in one day, about 45 km.
