You'll make your own way to the ferry terminal in Mukran. You'll also board the ferry with your luggage (and your own bikes, if needed). After a ferry ride of approximately 3,5 hours (incl.), you'll reach Rønne on Bornholm.

Alternatively, you can also travel from Copenhagen by taking the Bornholmerbus. This bus runs directly from the terminal at Copenhagen International Airport (Kastrup) via the central station and the Øresund Bridge across Sweden to Ystad. In Ystad, the bus transfers to the fast ferry to Rønne. The journey takes approximately 3,5 hours.

Our guest advisor will collect your luggage and provide tour information at the ferry. Rental bikes will be handed over at the starting hotel in Rønne.

Overnight place: Ronne

Today you explore the west of the island with the cliffs around Jons Kapel. You cycle to Hasle. Here you can expect traditionally smoked fish and a small fish museum. Passing the castle ruins of Hammershus you drive to Allinge or to Sandkas.

Overnight place: Allinge/Sandkas

Explore the north of Bornholm. The Hammeren, a beautiful nature reserve, invites you to go hiking and Sandvig Bay, with its fine sandy beach, invites you to swim. Drive back via Allinge to Sandkas.

You follow the ups and downs of the coast to Gudhjem. On your way are the Helligsdom cliffs and the art museum, which you should definitely pay a visit to. Take a look at the sight glass blowing shop at Baltic Sea Glass and immerse yourself in a world full of shapes and colours. The smokehouses in Gudhjem and Svaneke are known for their fish - the "Bornholmer" is recommended.

Overnight place: Svaneke, Balka or Nexø

Today we go to the center of the island. Leave Svaneke towards Østerlars. Marvel at the largest and oldest round church on the island. Your path continues into the forest of Almindingen. The Rytterknægten lookout tower offers a fantastic panoramic view.

Overnight place: Overnight stay as the day before in Svaneke, Balka or Nexø.

In Arsdale, cycle past a 19th-century windmill. Then it goes into the paradise bakeries, a small hilly rocky landscape. You whiz down the valley in the direction of Dueodde. The huge dune landscape with the fine white sand will inspire you.

Overnight place: Overnight stay like the day before in Svaneke, Balka or Nexø

From Nexø you follow the cycle path inland. Cycle through wide fields and meadows towards Aakirkeby. Visit the oldest stone church on the island.

Overnight place: Ronne

After breakfast, take the ferry (incl.) back to Mukran. Departure is on your own.
