1 day arrival in Palma de Mallorca
Transfer to Sa Coma to the hotel. The travel documents and rental bikes are ready for you at the hotel. A first walk along the promenade is recommended.
2-day excursion to the romantic town of Artà, approx. 40 km
First via Sant Llorenc (Santa Maria del Bellver church from the 13th century) through the picturesque hinterland of the island. Beautifully laid out paths lead you to Artà. Numerous lanes lead up the hill on which the town was built. From the pilgrimage church of Sant Salvador you can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the surrounding coast, the hilly landscape, the almond plantations and olive groves. Back the coast and the hotel are soon reached again.
3 day trip to the pearls to Manacor about 50 km
On the way is Son Carrio; there the ensaimades, "the lightest, airiest and most delicious pastry of the Balearic Islands" should be tasted. Freshly strengthened, the slight hills to Manacor are soon cycled and there is time and leisure to extensively visit the center of artificial pearl production in Mallorca. The route leads back to the hotel on lonely, easy-to-cycle paths.
4 day excursion to Cap des Pinar about 20 km
A short stage always leads along the coast to the beautiful Cap des Pinar viewpoint. This offers a wonderful view of the bays of Cala Bona and Cala Millor. On the way back, cozy cafés in small harbors invite you to linger. The fishermen who stop there certainly know how to tell many an adventurous story.
5 days active rest
Today there is no cycling stage on the program. We recommend a short hike/walk to Punta de n'Amer. The nature reserve not far from the hotel stretches out into the sea for about 2 km in the form of a peninsula. In addition to Mediterranean flora and fauna, the fortified tower Es Castell de sa Punta de n'Amer and the cave Cova de ses Crestes (a former living cave) can be visited.
6 day excursion to the caves of Artà and Cap Vermell approx. 40 km
First a leisurely bike ride to Capdepera with its triangular fortress and fully accessible fortress wall. Continue on side roads with little traffic to Canyamel and the caves of Artà. The imposing cave entrance, about 50 m above sea level, leads into the largest stalactite caves in Mallorca. Back over the Torre del Canyamel defense tower and past olive trees to the hotel.
7 day excursion Porto Cristo and Punta de s'Estany about 40 km
On beautifully landscaped cycle paths through the interior of the country to the Punta de s'Estany viewpoint with a wonderful view over the coast and the sea. Continue along the steep coast to the natural harbor bay of Porto Cristo with the old town worth seeing and the well-known Drach Caves, which extend over 1.700m. Before returning to the hotel, you can jump into the water, which was awarded the "Blue Flag" for excellent water quality.
