Day 1: Arrival in Munster

Day 2: Munster - Schöppingen, about 54 km
The first major sight is already in front of you: the picturesque Hülshoff moated castle with the "Droste Museum". Visit the sandstone museum in Havixbeck and climb the Longinus Tower. Look forward to the Billerbeck Cathedral, the Darfeld moated castle and the pilgrimage community of Eggerode.

Day 3: Schöppingen – Zwillbrock, about 57 km
Cycle past lonely farms to Ahaus. Visit the magnificent baroque moated castle here. Along the Dutch border, past moors, heaths and wet meadows, you finally reach the Zwillbrocker Venn nature reserve. Marvel at black-headed gulls and flamingos!

Day 4: Zwillbrock - Bocholt, about 49 km
Outstanding waren the cycle paths so far, an increase hardly possible. But it works! You are coming to the land of cyclists. In Holland you cycle through narrow avenues, on the most beautiful bike paths and small farm paths to Winterswijk (Wednesday market day) and then to the "antiquarian city" Bredevoort. In the afternoon you leave Holland and cycle to the pretty town of Bocholt, which was voted Germany's most bike-friendly city for the 2019th time in 6.

Day 5: Bocholt - Coesfeld, about 63 km
Past the text worth seeingilmUseum in Bocholt you cycle idyllically along the small river Aa. The well-signposted Aa cycle path is part of the 460 km long “Flusslandschaften” route. Look forward to the Pröbsting See leisure facility, the Gemen moated castle in Borken and in the evening to the Stephanus adventure brewery in Coesfeld.

Day 6: Coesfeld - Lüdinghausen, about 54 km
Today, Nottuln attracts visitors with its baroque town center and one of the most beautiful squares in the entire Münsterland. Visit the oldest blueprinting shop in Westphalia. Then look forward to your bike ride past the Send Castle and Kakesbeck Castle (privately owned). And last but not least: In Lüdinghausen you should definitely visit the medieval fortified castle Burg Vischering - with drawbridge, round castle and the Münsterland Museum worth seeing.

Day 7: Lüdinghausen – Munster, about 56 km
