Masuria means nature straight out of an old picture book: black forests, rolling hills and dreamy villages. Thousands of larger and smaller lakes glitter like jewels in the midst of extensive forests. Without a doubt, the Masurian Lake District is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Poland. A natural paradise for white storks. Here eels, pike and perch swim in the lakes and wolves, lynxes, raccoon dogs, bison and Polish horses, the so-called tarpans, roam the forests. The landscape is characterized by peaceful tranquility in huge primeval forests and nature parks, wide heath areas, crystal-clear rivers and lakes, and avenues that are more than a hundred years old. Environmental protection and green development are priorities here. So far, five landscape parks and numerous nature reserves have been established in this region. As the green lung of Poland, Masuria is rightly one of the most beautiful cycling regions in Europe.

After breakfast, a city tour of Warsaw (included) with sights such as the Old Town, Łazienki Park, and the vibrant city center. Around 12:00 PM, bus transfer to Masuria (approx. 200 km/4 hours/included). First stop in Masuria at a picturesque spot in the heart of the Johannesburg Heath. Here is the birthplace of Ernst Wiechert. Take some time to get in the mood for Masuria. From there, our bike tour to Krutyń begins. Dinner and overnight stay in Krutyń.

A cycling tour through the Puszcza Piska (Johannisburg Heath), the largest forested area in Masuria, with dense spruce and pine forests. Many animals live here, including deer, elk, roe deer, wild boar, hares, and foxes. You'll stop for lunch in the village of Ruciane. In the afternoon, you'll cycle through Masurian villages to Wojnowo (Eckertsdorf). This village was founded by Russian Old Believers. In this picturesque village, you can visit a Russian Orthodox church and a monastery right on the shore of Lake Druze. Dinner and overnight stay in Krutyń.

Exclusive: After breakfast, kayak tour on the most famous and beautiful natural river in Masuria - Krutinna. You will experience one of the most beautiful stretches of this trip: clear water in which the landscape is reflected unhindered, there are fish and birds, especially many kingfishers. Nature lovers are always enthusiastic about this area.
In the afternoon you cycle through the Masurian Landscape Park to Nikolaiken. With its secluded forests, moorlands and wide lakes, the Masurian Landscape Park is a scenic pearl of former East Prussia. Good forest paths and narrow roads take you to a scientific station where beavers and small Polish horses, the so-called tarpans, are kept. You then take a ferry across in about 15 minutes and then continue to Nikolaiken. You spend the next two nights in a hotel beautifully situated by a lake in the area around Nikolaiken. Enjoy dinner under the open sky in a typical local hotel in the area around Mikołajki/Nikolaiken.

Today's bike tour takes us along the Masurian Lakes around Nikolaiken. In the morning, a boat trip on the White Fleet ship from Mikołajki to Ryn. A boat trip (incl.) full of scenic impressions awaits us on the northern part of the longest channel lake in Poland. We end our boat trip at the foot of the historic Teutonic Knights' castle in Ryn/Rhine. In the afternoon, a bike tour past picturesque villages and the Masurian canals. Relax in Nikolaiken in the afternoon. Stroll through the town and take a coffee break. After dinner, a campfire with accordion music (exclusive).

After breakfast, a bus transfer takes you from Mikołajki/Nikolaiken to the Wolf's Lair – Hitler's former headquarters in East Prussia. An optional visit is available. Afterwards, you cycle to Kętrzyn/Rastenburg. Enjoy a stroll through the town. An optional lunch break is available at the castle. In the afternoon, you continue to Nakomiady/Eichmedien, where you can visit a spacious park. The tour then proceeds to a 3-star hotel by the lake in Mrągowo/Sensburg. Dinner and overnight stay at a lovely hotel by the lake in Mrągowo/Sensburg.

This day should really be called "Back to the Past." There are still secluded areas in Masuria that transport us back to the 19th century. You'll cycle through a peaceful and secluded region, experiencing nature at its purest. In the afternoon, you can visit the Protestant church in Sorquitten. Afterwards, the cycling tour continues through the stork village of Gonswen. Dinner and overnight stay in Mrągowo/Sensburg.

In the morning you will cycle from Sensburg to Swieta Lipka / Holy Linden, where there is a beautiful baroque church. If you wish, you can take part in a guided tour and an organ concert (exclusive). From Holy Linden we will continue to the old Masurian town - Reszel / Rössel, where you can visit the mighty castle. In the afternoon, bus transfer from Reszel / Rössel to Warsaw (incl.). Exclusive dinner in a restaurant in Warsaw.
