Individual arrival at the starting hotel in Brixen. Stroll comfortably through the arcades of the town of Brixen, marvel at the cathedral district and the bishop's castle.
Overnight place: Brixens
On the first part of the hike, the "Keschtnweg" (chestnut path) gives you the direction and presents you, like a terrace, with the Dolomites in the south. From the popular summer resort of the noble Bozner, the Renon, you pass the Dolomites up close. Vineyards and orchards line your way on the second section of the hike through one of the most beautiful areas in South Tyrol in the center of South Tyrolean viticulture.

From Brixen you hike up the Pfeffersberg. On beautiful terraces you pass small hamlets and mountain farms. In the south there is a panoramic view of the mighty Dolomite peaks. You reach Feldthurns, and via Säben Monastery, the “Acropolis of South Tyrol”, you reach the small Dürer town of Klausen.
Overnight place: Clausen
After a short bus transfer to Barbian/Saubach, you hike on the Ritten, a fantastic high plateau above the Eisack Valley with tremendous views of the Dolomites, especially the Sciliar. Don't forget to take a look at the tallest and most beautiful earth pyramids in Europe. The cable car then takes you from Oberbozen to Bolzano. Nowhere else do Italian and German cultures come together as closely as here. If you want, you can take the Rittnerbahn to Oberbozen from Klobenstein
shorten the stage.
Overnight place: Bolzano
The sun-drenched south of South Tyrol awaits you! Today you hike in the wine-growing region around South Tyrol's most famous body of water, Lake Kaltern. But not only numerous vineyards, but also many castles, palaces, mansions, churches and farms characterize the picture. A must for every wine lover is a visit to the South Tyrolean Wine Museum in Kaltern, which gives an insight into the wine history of South Tyrol. If you want, you can shorten the last climb from Lake Kaltern to the village by taking a bus. Return to Bolzano
public bus.
Overnight place: Like the day before Bozen
After breakfast you take the train to Lana (ticket included). Shortly behind Lana, the hiking trail leads along the famous Marlinger Waal - the longest of all South Tyrolean waals - to the forest. Waale are irrigation ditches that were built several hundred years ago to supply dry fields with water. Today there are beautiful hiking and walking trails along these rivers. Below Tyrol Castle you follow the famous Tappeiner Weg to Meran. Even Empress Sissi appreciated the mild climate. Centuries-old arcades and wonderful parks invite you to a cozy end to the day.
