The region is rough, attractive and at the same time a challenge for its inhabitants. In moor areas they built fen settlements, to which the fen route owes its name. Your journey on this route takes you from Emden to the Netherlands and back. You cycle through charming landscapes away from the hustle and bustle of densely populated cities. The North Sea is never too far away. Marvel at large cruise ships, windmills, castles and picturesque harbor towns. The charms of the north become a pleasure.

An attractive route for beginners and advanced

The route goes almost exclusively on well-developed cycle paths and roads with little traffic. The individual routes are easy to manage, there are shorter and longer variants on some sections of the route. The hotels are well equipped and are close to the city, making it easy to visit on foot. The luggage transport between the hotels is reliable. Overall, a highly recommended 'bike tour.
