1. Cycling holiday with family

Our first cycling holiday with our 6-year-old daughter was a hit. The round trip was feasible and was even partly extended voluntarily and somewhat involuntarily. We were able to see a lot and, despite the activities, came to rest and relax. Crowned by spontaneous acquaintances, especially for our daughter and bathing stops in the middle of the nature reserve, we have experienced a lot.

a great family vacation

When the travel documents arrived, I was missing a map, which was sent immediately. The vacation began. And we were not disappointed. Especially since the weather gods were very kind to us. All of the stages were manageable. Only in the second section did we have 2km on the clock instead of the 37km described. Our children (46, 12 and 9 years old) were "a bit" annoyed. But they made it through anyway. Especially since the hotel next door had its own indoor pool. The hotels were all excellent and the breakfast buffets left no one hungry. The cycle paths were well signposted and we only got lost once; it's supposed to happen when you confuse left and right. :-) The cycle routes were varied, along the water, through forests and fields, on asphalt paths, forest paths, cobblestones... What wasn't so nice was when we had to cycle directly on the road, which rarely happened. Swimming in the lakes, sometimes accompanied by ducks, was always the perfect way to end a day's tour. We all enjoyed the holiday and it won't be the last time we cycle along the Müritz.
