Today, the Weser Cycle Path and the Blexen ferry will take you to Bremerhaven with its Havenwelten Bremerhaven, which includes the German Maritime Museum. Your route follows the Weser River (approx. 80 km) or takes a more direct route (approx. 65 km).

You will travel through the land between Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven with wide plains, villages and marshes. At the end you will reach Cuxhaven on the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site.

In the Cuxhaven district, traditional seaside resorts invite you to take a dip in the sea, while heaths and marshes characterize the land behind the dikes. The Elbe ferry (price not included) takes you across the river. You will spend the night in Glückstadt.
