Your first cycling stage takes you to the Ammersee. Passing the Andechs monastery you reach Lake Starnberg. If you want, you can cycle directly to Lake Starnberg (approx. 35 km).
Overnight place: starnberger Lake
You cycle along the east side of Lake Starnberg to Seeshaupt. With full vigor we go to Staffelsee.

You cycle past the moor spa in Bad Kohlgrub, only to be enchanted by King Ludwig's fairytale castles.
Overnight place: Schwangau/Fussen
The view of the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles accompanies you a little further along the way to Hopfen am See.

Today's route begins a bit hilly. These little efforts are more than compensated for by the beautiful Alpine panorama. The highlight of the day is the ride along the Great Alpsee to Oberstaufen.
