This beautiful bike tour connects the two metropolises of Porto and Lisbon. Discover impressive cultural sites while cycling through lush nature and along beautiful coastal paths. The tour starts in one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Porto, a world heritage city. Enjoy a port wine and other culinary delicacies. Discover Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal, with its canals and salt pans, the lively coastal town of Figueira da Foz, the house-high waves of Nazaré and much more. Full of impressions, you will reach Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, with its impressive old town and many sights right on the Tejo. A beautiful and very varied trip awaits you.

Stroll along the banks of the Douro and try a glass of the famous port wine today.

In the morning you cross the Douro, cycle along the port wine cellars and switch from the hustle and bustle of the city to the quiet Atlantic coast. You head south along fine sandy beaches and through vast pine forests. Your overnight accommodation is known for its hospitality and excellent fish. Enjoy yourself!

You will marvel at a lot of nature on today's stage. You will cycle through the lagoon of Aveiro and are surrounded by water. In the São Jacinto nature reserve you can watch the birds or watch the salt production in the salt pans. A ferry will then take you to Aveiro, the Venice of Portugal with its canals and the famous Moliceiros boats.

The cycle path along the Rio Aveiro takes you directly to Costa Nova. The brightly-striped beach houses here are a popular photo subject. Cycle leisurely southwards and you will soon reach today's destination. Stroll along the kilometer-long sandy beach and enjoy the atmosphere of the tranquil seaside resort.

You cycle through the gently undulating dune landscape. Crickets chirp in the pine forest before the first cliffs appear before you. The road leads spectacularly towards the Cabo Mondego lighthouse and further to Figueira da Foz, a charming little town with many restaurants, decorated alleys, cozy cafes and of course a beautiful beach.

In the morning, transfer to royal Sintra with its palaces and mansions. From here, a thrilling descent takes you back towards the coast. Magnificent views of the sea and dreamy sandy bays make up for the occasional climb to Cascais. Your overnight accommodation welcomes you with its sophisticated style and beautiful promenade.

The cycle path leads directly along the bank to Estoril. After that, you will soon reach the mouth of the Tejo. The famous tower of Belem is right on the route before you cycle under Lisbon's landmark, the mighty suspension bridge. The route continues along the bank of the Tejo to the hotel in the modern district of Orient.
