Masuria means nature straight out of an old picture book: black forests, rolling hills and dreamy villages. Thousands of larger and smaller lakes glitter like jewels in the midst of extensive forests. Without a doubt, the Masurian Lake District is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Poland. A natural paradise for white storks. Here eels, pike and perch swim in the lakes and wolves, lynxes, raccoon dogs, bison and Polish horses, the so-called tarpans, roam the forests. The landscape is characterized by peaceful tranquility in huge primeval forests and nature parks, wide heath areas, crystal-clear rivers and lakes, and avenues that are more than a hundred years old. Environmental protection and green development are priorities here. So far, five landscape parks and numerous nature reserves have been established in this region. As the green lung of Poland, Masuria is rightly one of the most beautiful cycling regions in Europe.

Individual arrival in Warsaw and reception by the tour guide. Meeting point at the hotel in Warsaw at 19:00 p.m. Evening at leisure in Warsaw. Overnight stay in a 3* hotel in the center of Warsaw.

Overnight place: Warschau

After breakfast, city tour of Warsaw (incl.) with sights such as: the old town, Lazienki Park and the lively center. At around 12:00 noon, bus transfer to Masuria (approx. 200 km) - 4 hours (incl.) First stop in Masuria at a picturesque spot in the middle of the Johannesburg Heath. Here is the birthplace of Ernst Wiechert. Get in the mood for Masuria. From there, our bike tour to Krutyń begins. Dinner and overnight stay in Krutyń.

Overnight place: Krutyn

Bicycle tour through the Puszcza Piska / Johannisburg Heath, the largest forest area in Masuria with dense spruce and pine forests. Many animals live here, including deer, elk, roe deer, wild boar, rabbits and foxes. For lunch you take a break in the village of Ruciane. In the afternoon you drive through Masurian villages to Wojnowo/Eckertsdorf. This village was founded by the Russian Old Believers. In this picturesque village you can visit a Russian Orthodox church and a monastery right on the shores of Lake Druze. Dinner and overnight in Krutyń.

Exclusive: After breakfast, kayak tour on the most famous and beautiful natural river in Masuria - Krutinna. You will experience one of the most beautiful stretches of this trip: clear water in which the landscape is reflected unhindered, there are fish and birds, especially many kingfishers. Nature lovers are always enthusiastic about this area.

In the afternoon you cycle through the Masurian Landscape Park to Nikolaiken. With its secluded forests, moorlands and wide lakes, the Masurian Landscape Park is a scenic pearl of former East Prussia. Good forest paths and narrow roads take you to a scientific station where beavers and small Polish horses, the so-called tarpans, are kept. You then take a ferry across in about 15 minutes and then continue to Nikolaiken. You spend the next two nights in a hotel beautifully situated by a lake in the area around Nikolaiken. Enjoy dinner under the open sky in a typical local hotel in the area around Mikołajki/Nikolaiken.

Overnight place: Mikołajki/Nikolaiken

Today's bike tour takes us along the Masurian Lakes around Nikolaiken. In the morning, a boat trip on the White Fleet ship from Mikołajki to Ryn. A boat trip (incl.) full of scenic impressions awaits us on the northern part of the longest channel lake in Poland. We end our boat trip at the foot of the historic Teutonic Knights' castle in Ryn/Rhine. In the afternoon, a bike tour past picturesque villages and the Masurian canals. Relax in Nikolaiken in the afternoon. Stroll through the town and take a coffee break. After dinner, a campfire with accordion music (exclusive).

Overnight place: Like the day before Mikołajki/Nikolaiken

After breakfast we drive along Lake Rhein. On the way you can visit the Masurian Museum, where you can also take a coffee and cake break. In the afternoon you drive on to Nakomiady/Eichmedien, where you can visit a large park. The tour continues via the Wolf's Lair with a subsequent bus transfer to Mrągowo/Sensburg. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel in Mrągowo/Sensburg.

Overnight place: Mrągowo/Sensburg

This day should actually be called "Back to the Past". There are still isolated areas in Masuria that take us back to the 19th century. You will ride through a quiet and isolated area and experience pure nature. In the afternoon you can visit the Protestant church in Sorquitten. Then another bike tour through the stork village of Gonswen. Dinner and overnight stay in Mrągowo/Sensburg.

Overnight place: Like the day before, Mrągowo/Sensburg

In the morning you will cycle from Sensburg to Swieta Lipka / Holy Linden, where there is a beautiful baroque church. If you wish, you can take part in a guided tour and an organ concert (exclusive). From Holy Linden we will continue to the old Masurian town - Reszel / Rössel, where you can visit the mighty castle. In the afternoon, bus transfer from Reszel / Rössel to Warsaw (incl.). Exclusive dinner in a restaurant in Warsaw.
