A fuel surcharge of up to 8% of the package price may be levied on this bike and boat tour. The final amount will be determined and communicated 20–30 days before departure. Payment: This arrangement is made directly upon boarding the ship. It is governed by §651f of the German Civil Code (BGB) and serves to adjust for current fuel costs of our service partners.

Embarkation at 14:00 PM (03.05.2026:16 PM on May , ) at the beautiful town center and train station of the historic harbor town of Enkhuizen. After everyone has checked in, the captain will give an introduction to your sailing hotel, and the tour guides will provide an overview of the upcoming week. After all necessary safety instructions have been given, the ship will depart for your first destination of the week, Medemblik. After dinner, your tour guides will guide you through this historic town, known for its sailing culture.

In the morning, after a thorough bike fitting, you can set off on your first bike tour. We will ride in two groups, with one guide riding a longer route while the other group chooses a shorter route. The highlight of both routes is the picturesque village of Twisk, a former peat mining town that never experienced great poverty and is still in its original historical state.

The island of Texel is a dream destination for cyclists with its varied landscape, picturesque villages and special cycle paths. Your guide will take you on a tour of the island. The program also includes a visit to the seal sanctuary “Ecomare”. The foundation's main task is to rescue and heal birds and seals, but also to inform visitors about the area and the wildlife.

Overnight place: Texel

Today the sails are set. Your destination is the further east Terschelling Island. You will cross the Wadden Sea with its many sandbanks, where with a little luck you will Seals During the sailing tour today, instead of dinner, a hearty lunch served. Weather permitting, you will dine on deck. The exact route and duration of the trip depend on the tidal current and the wind. During the afternoon you will arrive on Terschelling The pretty villages on the narrow and approximately 30-kilometer-long island have retained much of their old charm. In the evening you have the opportunity to visit the harbor of the beautiful island with its many nice restaurants and pubs to explore.

Overnight place: Terschelling Island

Yesterday you mainly went sailing, today you're back on the bike. Terschelling has a lot to offer: Nature and culture, 70 kilometers of cycle paths and four beautiful villages. West-Terschelling is the largest town on the island with numerous shops and pubs. The island's landmark can be seen from afar: the 400 year old Brandaris lighthouse. Also worth seeing is the Nature reserve De Boschplaat, characterized by moors, salt marshes, beaches and dunes. With a bit of luck you will see lots of ducks, black-winged stilts and large colonies of spoonbills and great black-backed gulls. In the late afternoon the ship sets off again and sails to Harlingen, the most important port on the Frisian mainland.

Overnight place: Harlingen

The bike tour starts after the Breakfast in Harlingen. About Franeker with the famous Planetarium by Eise Eisinga The bike ride continues through the wonderful, expansive landscape of Friesland, dotted with small villages, to Makkum on the eastern shore of the IJsselmeer. If you want to take the long bike tour, you can also come to Bolsward, one of the Frisian eleven cities.

Overnight place: Makkum

From Makkum we continue by bike to Stavoren. The short route leads over the old trading town of Hindeloopen. Hindeloopen painting is world famous. The first Frisian ice skating museum is also located here. The long route leads past several lakes in the Frisian Lake District and reveals a completely different landscape. From Stavoren At the end of the day the ship takes you back to Amsterdam.

Overnight place: Enkhuizen

After breakfast, disembarkation by 09:30 am and individual journey home.

LEAFDE FAN FRYSLAN

The impressive one Four-masted schooner Leafde fan Fryslân made its maiden voyage in 2018. The interior of the recently restyled ship can be described as modern-traditional On the lower deck there are 12 well-equipped twin cabins, 1 smaller twin cabin and 1 junior suite with two separate beds and 2 single cabins. In two twin cabins a third bed (bunk bed) which makes the ship perfect for a family. On the upper deck there are 4 magnificent suites with a hotel-style bed, a double sliding glass door and a small private balcony. In the restaurant delicious meals served and the bar is well stocked, making the saloon the ideal place to relax after a day on the bike. And if you haven't burned enough calories yet, you can roll up your sleeves up on deck and help the crew with the sailing.

The distance to be covered depends primarily on the weather and the tides and is determined from day to day. Route changes or a change in the order The individual stages are therefore always reserved. The skipper and his crew discuss the options with the guests on a daily basis and will do everything to ensure that you have a varied mix of culture and nature to offer. Let yourself be surprised! Several sections of the route are covered by sailing ship.

This trip can also be booked as an individual trip with the ships Mare fan Fryslan (see WAT 01); Weapon fan Fryslân (see WAT 02) and Leafde fan Fryslan (WAT 03).

Minimum participants: 18 people

The routes are almost always flat, you cycle almost exclusively on cycle paths along the canals and rarely on side roads with little traffic. It may have to be expected with more or less wind.
