On their own. Amersfoort is a city where history is still alive. Behind the city walls you can stroll and shop in the cozy streets.

Overnight place: Amersfoort (NL)

Today you drive past Naarden-Vesting, the best-preserved historic fortress in Europe, to the capital of Holland. You sail along the IJsselmeer, the former Zuiderzee. After a pleasant bike ride you will arrive in Amsterdam. Above all, the many quiet canals in the city center of Amsterdam (UNESCO World Heritage Site) are well known. Amsterdam also has many museums and cultural highlights, such as the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh Museum.

The tour takes you to Haarlem. Take a look at the famous picturesque "Hofjes", 17th/18th century courtyards donated by wealthy citizens. Century for older, single women. Or visit the Frans Hals Museum. The tour continues through the Keukenhof, a beautiful garden that is a must see during the tulip blooming season. You can also enjoy the beautiful coastal landscapes with the dunes.

Overnight place: Zandvoort/Noordwijkerhout

First you drive to Leiden, known for its renowned university. Worth seeing are the Reich Museum for Ethnology and the Piesterskirche. Overnight place: The Hague/Delft

The tour takes you to Delft, a university city like Leiden, and one of the oldest cities in Holland. The old town has numerous sights that bear witness to its past as a flourishing commercial city. Delft has a well-preserved historic townscape criss-crossed by canals. Afterwards you drive to Kindedijk, known for its beautiful windmills, which are among the most famous sights in the Netherlands.

You drive via Schoonhoven, a typical romantic Dutch small town on the river "Lek" with a gold, silver and watch museum. Dairy cattle are kept in the area for the Gouda cheese. Drive through the beautiful Dutch countryside to Utrecht, the fourth largest city in Holland. The old town is characterized by canals, just like The Hague or Amsterdam. Take a look at the beautiful churches in Utrecht or visit the Centraal Museum.
