We were once again very satisfied with the organization of the tour. On the last day, the wrong luggage arrived at the hotel, but we didn't have to worry about anything - everything was sorted out after half an hour. The travel documents were once again top-notch. The tour is definitely worth recommending.

Cycle tour North Friesland

We had a wonderful week in North Friesland. Our bike tour took us through flat land, along the coast, and by boat to the islands of Föhr and Amrum. An evening hike in the dune landscape was an experience. Many, many thanks for the good organization. It was not the first time we were out with you, and hopefully not the last time, because it couldn't be better. The entire age group over 65 would like to thank you and, if they are in good health, will cycle again next year.

Additional nights on the islands are worthwhile

Despite heavy rain on the first day, we really enjoyed the bike tour. We were thrilled by the beautiful, endless landscape, the Wadden Sea with its impressive ebb and flow, birdlife, very friendly people and excellent (bike) paths. Recommendation: book one or two extra nights on Föhr and/or Amrum and arrange a Wadden Sea hike, boat trip to the seal banks or similar early on. The bikes and accommodation were top notch.

Very nice tour (individual)

No long stretches, no inclines, often against the wind. Otherwise, with Föhr and Amrum, 2 beautiful islands on which we luckily had booked a few more days/nights! Unfortunately, both islands are open to (tourist) car traffic, which I think is a big disadvantage. Wittdün is therefore not recommended, especially on Amrum. The hotels here should be in the quieter towns of Nebel or Norddorf (although the Hotel "Weiße Düne" in Wittdün is absolutely fine!). Everything on the island can be reached by bike, mostly on foot. There is a regular bus service on Amrum, so that hardly anyone needs a car. On the way back, the Hotel "Landhaus" in Sterdebüll is also a very good hotel, although it is a bit "far from the beaten path". Accommodation in Bredstedt would be the better choice here. The weather was mixed, just "North Sea weather". You should be prepared for that. All in all, a very nice and relaxing cycling holiday with the Mecklenburger Radtour!

The map reading brackets on the handlebars of the bikes were missing. Accommodation on Amrum in the house "ANKA" was particularly good. Breakfast in all accommodations was excellent.

A bike tour to enjoy

For once we wanted to take it easy and that's why we chose this gourmet tour. For us it was right in all respects: - top bikes - accommodation OK - pure nature on Amrum and Föhr (without holiday individual traffic it would be paradise) - holidays where you forget everything: o) Mecklenburgers, we'll be back.

Beautiful bike ride on the Wadden Sea

Admittedly, luck with the weather is part of it. I really enjoyed my bike tour. The path is well signposted and the descriptions are exact. I can highly recommend an extension on the island of Amrum. Then there is time for an impressive mudflat hike AND long walks in the dunes or on the sandy beach. The accommodations are well chosen. In Utersum auf Föhr I recommend making a reservation at a local restaurant before you leave. Otherwise there is a shop where food can be bought. The Hotel Post only serves breakfast (a delicious one!). Don't miss the sunset! Extension is also recommended in Husum!
