Today you take the local bus (1 hour self-guided) to charming Marstrand, which stretches across the two islands of Marstrand and Koön. Your accommodation is right by the sea on Koön. Today you can hike either Marstrand or both Marstrand and Koön. Catch the ferry (2 minutes ferry time on your own) directly in front of your hotel to Marstrand. The coastal path around the island is 5 km long, so you also have time to visit the village and the Carlstens Fortress. Then take the ferry back to Koön and enjoy a 8km beautiful walk over granite rocks, stairs and boardwalks.

Today you go by bus or car (5 minutes on your own) to the ferry. A 30-minute ferry ride takes you to Dyrön South Harbour. The hike around the picturesque island of Dyrön offers breathtaking panoramic views, small beaches, mouflon sheep and much more. The path was created by the locals, the "blue men", and leads over rocks, stairs and a small forest.

a) Island Bohus Malmön 10 km: Take the local bus + a short ferry ride (50 mins self-guided) to Bohus Malmön Island, famous for the Bohus granite and the stonemasons that used to work here. Take a stroll around this fantastic island. When the weather is summery
you can swim at one of the beaches.
Hike Bohus Malmön: 12,2 km, 2,5-3 h, +180 m, -180 m.
b) Kungshamn to Tullboden 14 km: Take the local bus (5 mins on your own) or walk 4 km further to Kungshamn where the trail starts. You will explore both the inland forest and the coastal countryside dotted with charming little villages. From Tullboden, take the local bus back to Smogen (40 minutes on your own).

Smogens Hafvsbad 4*
After breakfast, take the bus from Smogen to Gothenburg (2,5 hours on your own). Check into your centrally located hotel, then take the tram to Botaniska Trädgården/ Botanical Gardens, 15 minutes from the city center. Stroll through the beautiful gardens and maybe enjoy lunch or a coffee in the café/restaurant before continuing your walk along the forest paths of Änggårdsbergen nature reserve. You'll do the circular hike we recommend, but there are many different trails you can use if you want to detour.
