Experience two fascinating Baltic Sea islands on this cross-border cycling tour: the sun-drenched Usedom in Germany and the unspoiled island of Wolin in Poland. Beyond these two islands, the exploration continues across the Oder Lagoon, the natural paradise of the lagoon coast, and back to the Peene Delta near Anklam. Between fine sandy beaches, seaside resort architecture, tranquil bays, and pristine nature, you'll discover the full diversity of the Baltic coast and lagoon region on your bicycle.
They start through the tranquil Peene Valley towards Lassan, a dreamy little town on the Achterwasser lagoon. The journey continues via the historic town of Wolgast, the northern "gateway to the island". Usedom“, all the way to the Baltic coast to the seaside resorts of Karlshagen or Zinnowitz.

Today you will discover the tranquil UsedomThe hinterland: the route leads along small avenues and through quiet villages to the Polish border. The destination is the charming Swinemünde (Świnoujście) on the island. Usedom and Wollin, with its lively harbor atmosphere.

A day trip will take you to the neighboring Polish island of Wolin. You'll cycle through Wolin National Park, perhaps visiting the Kawcza Góra viewpoint or the bison park near Międzyzdroje. In Międzyzdroje, the promenade around the pier is a must-see. Cafés and restaurants with views of the Baltic Sea invite you to linger.

The Oder Lagoon Cycle Path is the focus of today's route to Anklam. You'll cycle through the quieter part of the island to the town of Anklam on the Peene River. Alternatively, part of the route can be covered by train (e.g., from Züssow).
