The next round trip in the bicycle saddle is waiting for you. You can once again discover the diversity of the landscape around Marburg via a variety of cycling, forest and farm paths. Your destination for the day, “Dammühle”, is one of the most beautiful excursion restaurants in the hinterland and will delight you with its idyllic beer garden. The "Dammühle" is a historic, listed watermill that has been family-owned for more than 300 years. Play a game of mini golf and strengthen yourself for the return journey, as it begins with a short climb (approx. 500 m long). Whether you finally arrive in Marburg early in the afternoon or after dark depends more on the length of your break in the beer garden than on the short climb?

Today you cycle to the more than 700-year-old Brücker Mill, where you can experience the complex production process from grain to flour during a tour of the running, historic mill. Afterwards, fortify yourself in the idyllic mill yard or on the green sofa in the old pump room. Now we can start again, up to the historic excursion destination Amöneburg. The climb is not without effort, but you will be rewarded with a unique all-round view, a wonderful circular path around the Wall and finally a rushing descent. The way back to Marburg on completely flat cycle paths rounds off the first day of the excursion.

Almost a day without cycling, but you can't do without pedaling and pedaling. In the morning you will need your pedal power to explore the Lahn and Marburg from the water in a pedal boat. Then take a confident walk in the forest up to the Spiegelslustturm, the most beautiful viewing terrace over Marburg. From the tower you can enjoy the wonderful all-round view over the city and the countryside and can proudly reconstruct the cycle routes you have mastered over the past few days. The afternoon is free and can be used for further sightseeing or a leisurely stroll through the many winding streets of the old town.

And we have another real highlight for you. You cycle along a former railway line on a romantic cycle path towards your worthwhile destination, the Rauischholzhausen Castle and Park. The spacious castle park, an approximately 30 hectare English landscape park with almost 300 different tree species, has been under landscape protection since 1956 and was included in the European Theme Route of the 'European Garden Heritage Network' in 2009. The park, castle and the nice café will delight you. Your way back takes you back along the beautiful railway line before you say goodbye to all the beloved localities in Marburg's old town in the evening.
