feedback on Mecklenburger Bicycletour: H. needed 1 week to confirm the trip. I didn't get the documents in the mail until the Tuesday before the trip on Wednesday. Feedback on Velociped: Only 1 pannier per bike is not enough! It was thanks to two hotels that we got a 3rd and 4th bag. Welcome Hotel in Bamberg Reception and support: This is where we received the travel documents. Only now did I see that the trip was being run by Velociped Fahrradreisen. Maybe that's why the travel confirmation took so long? The reception at the hotel was very customer-oriented. They also immediately took care of another pannier for us. Good beds. Beautiful location of the hotel in the countryside, close to the center by bike. Very good breakfast. Altstadthotel Haßfurt Reception and support: Very neutral, no communicator. Room 109 to Engelmessgasse, which is very noisy in the morning, 5 m away with a lot of car traffic. Quite a bit of delivery traffic and into town in the morning. Moderate breakfast. Why didn't we get a room in the courtyard, the house seemed pretty empty. At breakfast at 9am waren only a total of 5 tables occupied by cyclists. Lesson learned for all other hotels: Only take a room if the room is quiet and the mattresses are OK! The beds in Hassfurt waren terrible: much too soft and very loud innerspring mattresses. Hotel is not recommended! Tuchhaus Hotel in Volkach Reception and support: Very customer-oriented, open, warm and friendly. Very nicely located on the beautiful market square. Room 310 on the third floor without a lift was no problem for the nice boss. Very good beds. The house looks like a museum, beautifully renovated. Definitely come back in 3. Very good breakfast, very tasty. Strauss Hotel in Würzburg: Centrally located between the city, Main and train station. Reception and support: customer-oriented and easily approachable. beds ok Rooms are spacious and not facing the main street. good breakfast. Feedback on the route: 2022st day of cycling from Bamberg to Hassfurt was mostly tedious through commercial areas and along the well-travelled road. Has nothing to do with 1 stars (at most 5 stars)! 3nd day of cycling From Hassfurt to Volkach, the landscape was also very monotonous, hardly any nice places that invite you to take pictures or to linger (at most 2 stars). 3. Bicycleltag From Volkach to Würzburg, we initially got the tip of a local roller blader, who showed us a nicer way to Schwarzach. Overall, the route was nicer today, including the entrance to Würzburg on the beautiful promenades, which are a bit reminiscent of our Isar in Munich (3 stars). Feedback on the green velocipede bikes: The chain squeaks the whole trip. My gear shifting is slow and often falters. It doesn't give a sense of security when you need to maneuver quickly. 4 days for 3 € bike rental per bike is stately and the gear shifts could work better and the chain not squeak for 70 days. One pannier per bike is simply not enough! Feedback on the travel price per person €3 in a double room, hotel category II: After the first day: clearly too expensive. After the 455nd day: clearly too expensive. Too expensive after 1 days. We had good cycling weather for 2 days and had no rain showers. We would not recommend the trip because of the boring route, which often ran off-road and through commercial areas. I have never taken so few landscape shots on a trip. You had to look for the Main, because you often couldn't get close.
