Enjoy the real Lithuanian country life when you cycle in the Neman Delta. This tour runs partly along the Lithuanian Coastal Cycle Route, which is the first and only officially signposted high-quality cycle route in Lithuania. The tour begins and ends in the historic coastal town of Klaipeda (known as Memel for many years), which has a rich, checkered history since the 13th century. Today it is a bustling, modern city with many excellent things to do, from historical tours to water sports. There is a wide choice of cafes and restaurants and many annual festivals e.g. B. Jazz, folklore & sea. Guests spend 2 nights in the largest settlement of the Curonian Spit -Nida. Day 1: Arrival to Klaipeda (Memel)
Arrival to Klaipeda (Memel) on your own. Individual transfer from Palanga airport or Klaipeda ferry port to your hotel in Klaipeda (not incl.).
Overnight in Klaipeda (Hotel "Old Mill*** or similar).
Day 2: Klaipeda (Memel) - Palanga (Polangen) - Klaipeda (Memel), approx. 58 km
Briefing and delivery of the bikes. Bike ride to Palanga (Polangen) through the Baltic Sea Coast Regional Park. During the drive you will discover the "Dutchman's Hut", a 24 meter high hill on the Baltic Sea coast and Plaze See. In Palanga you can visit the botanical garden with the amber museum. There are numerous cafés on the famous Basanavičius Street. Stroll across the 470 meter long pier. Return to Klaipeda (Memel) on the same or slightly different route

Day 3: Klaipeda (Memel) - Sveksna - Silute (Heydekrug), approx. 47 km
Transfer by minibus (incl.) to the interior of the country, where the bike ride begins on the picturesque country roads and will continue to Silute. This region is known as the country of storks because white storks are national birds of Lithuania. On the way stop in village Sveksna to explore the estate with its beautiful park. Arrival in Silute (Heydekrug).

Day 4: Silute (Heydekrug) - Rusne (Russ) Island - & Memel delta - Silute (Heydekrug), approx. 47 km
A free day for relaxation in Silute (Heydekrug). Or take a cruise on the island of Rusne (Russ) in the Memel Delta, the largest of its kind in Lithuania. Here the nature park "Memeldelta" was founded. Visit the local museum's authentic fishermen's houses, the 19th-century lighthouse that stands in the port of Uostadvaris. Return to Silute.

Day 5: Silute (Heydekrug) - Vente (Windenburg) - Nida (Nidden), approx. 33 km / approx. 14 km by boat
Cycle from the hotel to the "Winderburger Ecke" where you can visit one of the first bird stations in Europe and the lighthouse from the 19th century. The lighthouse offers a panoramic view of the unique landscape - the sparkling waters of the Curonian Lagoon and the large sand dunes. A million birds pass through the Ventė horn every year. The boat trip to Nida / Nidden opens up views of the impressive sand dunes of the Curonian Spit. Arrive in Nida and ride to the hotel by bike

Day 6: Nida (Nidden) - rest day at the Baltic Sea, approx. 10 km
The day is free: cycle or hike along the sand dunes of the spa town of Nida (Nidden). Today Nida (Nidden) is the largest place on the Curonian Spit and one of the most beautiful spa towns in Lithuania. The old architecture of the fishermen's houses fascinates with their peculiar style and their authenticity. The most famous objects in Nida (Nidden) are the Thomas Mann House, the Amber Gallery and the High Dune.

Day 7: Nida (Nidda) - Juodkranté (Schwarzort) - Klaipeda (Memel), approx. 58 km
You cycle along the "Coastal Cycle Path" through the Curonian Spit to Klaipeda. During the tour you can stop at the "Dead Dunes", visit the colony of cormorants and herons and the Witch Hill, swim in the Baltic Sea and enjoy the golden beach. Arrive in Smiltyne (Sandkrug) and transfer by ferry to the old town of Klaipeda (Memel). Bike ride to the hotel and bike return.
