Your first stage takes you along the Salzach to Oberndorf. After you have passed the old town of Laufen, you go to the warmest bathing lake in Upper Bavaria, the Waginger See. You reach the Chi via Nussdorfemshey
Overnight place: Traunstein/Chi regionemsee
From Traunstein you cycle the Chiemsalong the ee to Gstadt and then on via Breitbrunn and Amerang to Wasserburg. All those who start today from Chieming/surroundings cycle to Seeon, whose monastery Mozart visited several times, and on to Wasserburg via Breitbrunn and Amerang.
Overnight place: Moated castle
The Inn accompanies you all day to the Austrian town of Kufstein, the "Pearl of Tyrol". You can really enjoy the ride via Rosenheim into the Tyrolean countryside with almost no effort.

At the beginning you cycle along the Inn before you drive into the somewhat hilly Kaiserwinkl of Tyrol. Here you can enjoy the Tyrolean mountain landscape.

Today's stage is part of the Tauern Cycle Path. You cycle to Waidring and then to Lofer, two of the stops on Mozart's journey. From Lofer drive to Bayerisch Gmain or Bad Reichenhall.

A small stopover is recommended in Berchtesgaden. A trip to the nearby, idyllic Königssee is also possible before you roll back into Salzburg.
