Day 1: Arrival in Munster
Münster, a worthwhile starting point and destination of your round trip, attracts with old gabled houses, modern museums, the cathedral, the Friedenssaal, the Prinzipalmarkt, the Aasee, the castle and with many quaint student pubs. Come to Münster early and take a city tour by bike in this cycling metropolis.

Day 2: Munster - Billerbeck, about 33 km
Circumnavigate the old town of Münster on the famous promenade before cycling out of the city past the castle. A break at "Haus Rüschhaus" with the Droste-Hülshoff Museum and the Hülshoff Castle with its extensive park is worthwhile. Visit the interesting sandstone museum in Havixbeck and stop off at one of the beautiful cafés or one of the beer gardens along the way. As the highest elevation in the entire Münsterland region, the Longinusturm offers a real highlight on this stage with its fantastic all-round view. Then look forward to Billerbeck, which is picturesquely nestled in the gentle "hills" of the Baumberge and has medieval streets.

Day 3: Billerbeck circular tour, about 45 km
You cycle through the attractive park landscape of Westmünsterland to the enchanting castles of Darfeld and Varlar, both of which are privately inhabited. Visit the interesting Lamberti Church in Coesfeld on the large market square in the old town center and take a break in the local rustic brewery Stephanus. In the afternoon you touch the foothills of the Baumberge and finally roll along the Berkel back to Billerbeck.

Day 4: Billerbeck - Lüdinghausen, about 43 km
There's a lot to see today! Pay a visit to the picture-book town of Nottuln with its historic baroque town center and the Stiftsplatz, which is considered one of the most beautiful squares in the Münsterland. Take a look at the oldest blue printing works in Westphalia and see the production of blankets and curtains live. You then cycle on the famous "Castle Route" to Send Castle, past Kakesbeck Castle to Lüdinghausen with the medieval fortified castle "Vischering Castle". With its drawbridge, the round castle and the Münsterland Museum, which is well worth seeing, this is one of the best-preserved and most beautiful castle complexes in Germany!

Day 5: Lüdinghausen circular tour, about 44 km
Look forward to another highlight of your trip today. After just a few kilometers you will discover Nordkirchen Castle, the "Westphalian Versailles". Not only the precious interior with the artistic stucco ceilings, the valuable paintings, the high columns and the chimneys made of black marble is worth seeing, but also the extensive park with its beautiful gardens and the orangery. The Fasanerie and the Oranienburg also want to be discovered. Then you cycle to Selm, where the lido at Ternscher See with its excellent water quality lures you to swim and the sun terrace invites you to linger. Freshly strengthened, you cycle back to Lüdinghausen via the "Castle Route" in the afternoon.

Day 6: Lüdinghausen - Munster, about 39 km
This morning you follow the famous "Pättkes" to the small town of Ottmarsbocholt, which proudly presents its historic grain windmill. On the "100 Castles Route" you cycle to the DortmundEms-Canal, which crosses the Münsterland as the largest water band and now accompanies you to Münster. Look forward to the last few kilometers of the journey, as they lead through the city's "Old Harbour", which has become one of the most popular meeting places not only for students in recent years with a wide range of restaurants. Let your day of cycling end here with relish and immerse yourself in the lively life of the lovely city.
