Die Altstadt von Malmö mit seinen kleinen niedlichen Gassen

Check into the centrally located hotel. You then have time for a city tour
in this medieval seaside town.

Malmö is known for its diverse food culture, ranging from Michelin-winning restaurants to excellent street food. As Sweden's unofficial falafel capital of Sweden, at least one meal here is a must. At Ribersborg Beach, popularly known as "Ribban", there is a beautiful beach promenade and a venerable old bathhouse. From here, it's not far to the city's most recognizable landmark, the 54-story Turning Torso. Malmo is a world-class cycling city, so explore Malmo, enjoy its diversity, parks, open-air markets and much more.

Overnight place: Malmo

We recommend leaving early today as there is a lot to experience. Take the bike on board the train to Copenhagen. Start a nice city tour and pass the cozy harbor of Nyhavn. Continue to Langelinje and visit the Little Mermaid. Afterwards you leave Copenhagen via Hellerup and Tuborg Harbour.

Once you leave vibrant Copenhagen, cycle along the coast and soon arrive
you reach Klampeborg. Here we strongly recommend that you leave the cycle path and cycle through the fantastic deer park "Jaegersborg Dyrehave". You cycle on quiet gravel paths between oak trees and have a high chance of seeing deer.

Continue along the beautiful coastal path, past long beaches and small villages such as Rungsted and Humlebaek. You can visit the Karin Blixen Museum in Rungstedlund and/or the famous Louisiana Museum in Humlebaek.

Continue to Elsinore, where you stay overnight at your hotel.

Overnight place: helsingør

After breakfast you take the ferry (20 minutes) to Helsingborg in Sweden. You cycle north past Sofiero Castle with its stunning garden, voted the most beautiful in Europe in 2010. The route continues up to Höganäs and out and out into the beautiful, rocky landscape of the Kullahalvön Peninsula. We suggest you cycle out to the charming seaside village of Mölle. Have lunch or a picnic in Mölle or park your bikes and hike a few kilometers along the fantastic coastal path to Ransvik. Then it's a few kilometers further in the countryside to beautiful Arild where you spend the night.

Overnight place: Accommodation in Arild (or Mölle if Arild is fully booked)

Today we recommend that you cycle from Arild through the small picturesque harbor of Arild and then up gravel tracks into the Kullaberg Nature Reserve. Only a few kilometers, but a few meters of altitude to overcome through the fields and forests. The nature is breathtaking and it is worth the effort. Park the bike and take a hike to the strange, impressive and famous wooden sculpture "Nimis". The trek is only a few kilometers long but due to the altitude and difficult terrain.

Note that Nimis was built without a permit and the authorities have not secured the trail, so visit at your own risk.

After visiting Nimis you cycle the few kilometers on demsSame way back to Arild and then further along the coast to Ängelholm. Here you will pass nice little villages, beaches and cafes.

Today's stage is 36 km long, but can be shortened to 29 km if you don't drive all the way to Nimis. The Nimis hike is 3,5 km long and has -150 m, +150 m difference in altitude.

Overnight place: Angelholm.

Today's stage is fairly short and flat, so an easy day in the saddle and you can spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful medieval town of Helsingborg. You cycle inland past agricultural fields and very small villages such as Kattarp and Hittarp. You cycle towards Helsingborg both on cycle paths and on small, beautiful country roads. A few kilometers before Helsingborg you reach the nature reserve Pålsjö Forest. We suggest you park the bikes and walk through the park/little forest, maybe enjoy a delicious waffle at the waffle cafe.

After the Pålsjö forest you reach the sea again and cycle a few kilometers into Helsingborg. When the weather is nice, the promenade in front of Helsingborg is great for cycling, walking and swimming in the sea.

Helsingborg is a city that offers something for everyone, from exploring nature and exploring nature and history to the excitement of a modern city.

Overnight place: Helsingborg

It is only 25 km from Helsingborg to Landskrona, but you will experience a lot on this route before you take the ferry to the island of Ven. Soon you will reach the charming hamlet and harbor of Råå, then cycle along the coast before cycling the 'Glumslöv Hills', a charming rolling plateau carved by glaciers. This includes the Hilleshögs dalar (valleys) nature reserve, which is definitely worth a visit. It's a bit uphill, but it's not that difficult and you get great views before descending slightly to Borstahusen, an idyllic fishing village founded in the 1770s. From Borstahusen it is only a few kilometers to the small town of Landskrona, which offers beautiful architecture and a wide range of cultural sights. In the center of the city is the Citadellet, one of the best preserved 16th century fortresses.

The ferry (30 minutes) takes you to the wonderful little island of Ven.
Cycling around the entire island in just 12 km, it is a very popular cycling and hiking island.

You stay in a guesthouse or hotel on Ven.
Danger! Ven can be fully booked in high season. If Ven is fully booked, stay in the Landskrona area.

Overnight place: Fri

After breakfast, take the ferry back to Landskrona. You continue south along the coast and arrive at the small village of Barsebäckshamn, popular with boaters and landlubbers alike and worth a visit to linger in the harbor pub. There are many good bathing spots on the way to Malmo. Stop at Lomma Strand or Långa bryggan in Bjärred, which stretches 600 meters out to sea. Here you can enjoy a delicious meal and go swimming. North of Malmö is Spillepengen, a green area that contrasts with the city. The shallow sea water is an important place for flocks of birds, the birds resting on their journey or spending the winter. You are now back in Malmo where you will spend the night.
You can shorten the distance to 44 km by taking the train from Lomma to Malmö.
