Your journey takes you over the Öresund Bridge to Copenhagen and further along the "Golden Coast" in Denmark. You pass fantastic landscapes with beautiful Swedish sandy beaches and wild nature. Charming coastal towns and bustling cities are not neglected here either.
Day 1: Arrive in Malmö on your own.
Explore Malmö by bike and enjoy the variety of restaurants, parks, markets and Malmö's seafront.
Day 2: Malmö - Copenhagen - Helsingør, approx. 55 km
Today we recommend an early start. Take the train across the Øresund Bridge to Copenhagen (a one-hour harbor cruise in Nyhavn is possible, prior reservation required). From Copenhagen the route takes you along the coast to Klampeburg. Leave the cycle path here and continue through the wildlife park "Jaegersborg Dyrehave" to Helsingør.
Day 3: Helsingør - Helsingborg - Arild, approx. 41 km
On today's stage you take the ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden. Heading north you pass Sofiero Castle and reach the Kullahalvön Peninsula. From there you continue on land to Arild, where you spend the night.
Day 4: Arild – Ängelholm, approx. 36 km
From Arild we recommend the Kullaberg Natur Resort. The nature there is breathtaking and the famous wooden sculptures "Nimis" are worth seeing. Back via Arild you drive along the coast to Ängelholm. Today's route is 36km long but can be shortened to 30km if you omit 'Nimis'.
Day 5: Ängelholm – Ven, approx. 60km + 12km
Start from Ängelholm to Helsingborg. You can spend the afternoon in the beautiful medieval city of Helsingborg. Before that, the path takes you inland past fields and small villages. From Helsingborg to Landskrona it is only 25 km. However, you will pass through many small villages and amazing landscapes. From Landskrona you take the ferry to the small island of Ven. Here you can cycle around the island (12 km). If the island of Ven is fully booked, stay in Landskrona.
Day 6: Ven - Landskrona - Malmö, approx. 57 km
After breakfast you take the ferry to Landskrona. The trail heads south along some beach options to Malmö.
Day 7: Departure from Malmo
After breakfast departure on your own.
