Arrival in the cycling city of Oldenburg. In the evening you have the opportunity to explore the charming city center.

The first leg of your journey takes you through the beautiful parkland of the Ammerland region to the spa town of Bad Zwischenahn on Lake Zwischenahn. From there, you'll continue to the charming old town of Leer. Spend the evening strolling through the historic museum harbor and the town's traditional alleyways.

From Leer, you'll cycle today through the East Frisian hinterland, first to the former royal residence of Aurich. Here, where East Frisian chieftains and counts ruled for centuries, a short break in the historic city center is worthwhile. Along the EmsThe journey continues along the Jade Canal to the port city of Emden. Take the opportunity for a stroll along the Delft canal or visit one of the three museum ships.

Bike tour to the picturesque fishing village of Greetsiel, the largest shrimp boat port in the WeserEms-Region. Don't miss out on a portion of fresh shrimp. Past the Leybucht - where, with a bit of luck, you can see seals - the path leads north.

The crossing from Norddeich to the island takes about an hour (ferry incl. bike and visitor's tax not included in the price). Alternatively: bike ride along the coast and the Wadden Sea National Park or visit the seal station in Norddeich.

Via Dornum to the most beautiful moated castle in East Friesland and further through the marshland to the former East Frisian chief town of Esens. The destination for the day is the town of Wittmund with its unique brick buildings and gallery Dutch mills, as well as the East Frisian way of life.

From Wittmund you cycle to medieval Jever and on to Gödens Castle. Dangast is the oldest North Sea resort on the Lower Saxony coast and a popular attraction not only for those interested in art.

Winding paths lead to the Jaderberg Animal and Leisure Park, one of the largest in Northern Germany with over 600 animals. Passing Rastede, the former summer residence of the Counts and Dukes of Oldenburg, you return to your starting point in Oldenburg. Individual return journey or start of your extended stay.
