a very nice tour

In mid-August I rode the Baltic Sea Cycle Route from Lübeck to Stralsund. The first section was relatively hilly, but manageable for a person with average fitness. Also, I didn't find the route description on this section as bad as I had read before. The rest of the tour was well signposted. The length of the route was manageable every day and the accommodation options were well chosen. That it rained quite a bit one morning and then the paths along the Baltic Sea got pretty wet and dirty waren (especially through the national park), no one can do anything about that. In any case, I am enthusiastic about the organization of the trip and the area. If it comes up, I will either continue the Baltic Sea Cycle Path next year or start before Lübeck.

Baltic Sea Cycle Route Lübeck - Stralsund with onward journey to Rügen

We waren End of May/beginning of June on the road with very good rental bikes. When we received the bikes, we realized that we should have reserved the handlebar bags in advance, which unfortunately we had not been told beforehand. The gentleman who made the bikes suitable for us organized handlebar bags without further ado, which we were very happy about waren. The hotels waren, very well chosen with one exception. The luggage transport also always worked perfectly. The landscape was beautiful, but if you want it a little less touristy, the hinterland is recommended. Our trip didn't quite correspond to the standard program, since we continued with the bicycles Rügen cycled. Unfortunately, this deviation from the program was almost completely forgotten in the travel documents. Despite everything, we can die Mecklenburger recommend to everyone.

Beautiful and harder than expected

The route is very varied, but really sporty! For the approx. 80 km it took me 5 hours net each time. The wind and the route, which is not so level, mean that it is not only beautiful but also quite exhausting at times. But overall highly recommended.

Baltic Coast Cycle Route 2 - a pleasure!

Beautiful route, wonderful from Kuehlungsborn. However, the place Barth could be left out; a disastrous road trip.

Baltic Sea Cycle Route, Part 2, Lübeck - Stralsund, MEC-02_21

We (3 men - aged well over 65 years), after 2019 Baltic Sea Cycle Path, Part 1, Flensburg - Lübeck, have now completed the route from July 04.07.2021th, 11.07.2021 to July XNUMXth, XNUMX. Our conclusion: the travel documents waren very good again. We recommend that you continue to offer them in paper form. The advice from Ms. Geisler was always technically competent, friendly and all-encompassing. The e-bikes waren in very good condition, no problems. The hotels waren consistently good to very good. The distance from the hotels in Warnemünde and Barth to the respective center or port was a bit too far. Against it waren the hotels in Lübeck and Stralsund in the immediate vicinity of the train stations of the DB and in a few minutes the respective center could be reached. In principle, the luggage transport worked smoothly. However, we would suggest ensuring that they are made available in the next hotel by 14:00 p.m. if possible. In Barth and Stralsund we had to For example, wait until about 17:30 p.m. and then you can only decide to go into town, sweaty or to spend the waiting time in the hotel room (which is certainly not in the interests of the cyclists).

Wonderfully varied journey of discovery

We waren in July 2021 with the bikes on the way from Lübeck to Stralsund and thoroughly enjoyed this well-prepared bike tour in mixed weather. The description said "sportive". In our opinion, the tour was very easy to do (without e-bikes), divided into pleasant sections (mostly approx. 45 km, 1 day 70 km). Except for the first day with some ups and downs, mostly flat. Beautiful, varied landscape: coast, seaside resorts, Bodden, agricultural areas, nature reserves. In addition, friendly people, interesting museums (Hansemuseum Lübeck, Ozeaneum Stralsund ua), very pleasant accommodations, fine food. Of the Mecklenburger BicycletourPerfectly prepared with a set of maps, wheels in perfect condition, etc. The only wish for improvement: Wherever possible, text descriptions of the routes and maps of the routes should be on the same page of the brochure. Scrolling isn't that convenient while driving. All in all: we are very happy to recommend it.
-Michael and Claudia

Beautiful tour

Excellent tour, great nature experiences, quiet stages in the middle of nature, through forests and meadows. Beautiful beach access to the Baltic Sea, beautiful cities and towns on the way. Super organized by the travel agency. Accommodation very suitable for cyclists
-Martina Grimm

Please more

For this tour please choose Warnemünde or places on the coast. Rostock was too big a detour and we didn't like it. Otherwise it was a very nice tour.

Trip from 16.06. to 24.06.2023 - Beathe and Hans-Joachim

Hello, we enjoyed the tour, beautiful landscapes, great routes, great paths through forest and fields, just great, although the following comments are not so good. The Hotel Wilhelmshof in Ribnitz-Damgarten was inappropriate and, as far as breakfast is concerned, a flop. If I have to pay extra for the scrambled eggs and the rest of the breakfast can be considered more than handouts, no thanks, never go back in there. Furthermore, if it says Hotel Warnemünde, then it should also be in Warnemünde and not in a district outside, if the information is correct and not 20-25 minutes outside.
