You can also look forward to Warnemünde/Rostock and the Fischland and Darß peninsulas. Marvel at old Hanseatic cities with their brick Gothic architecture, lively seaside resorts with their vibrant beaches, the expansive coastal landscape, and always a refreshing Baltic Sea breeze.

On their own. Wismar is located directly on the Baltic Sea coast and invites you to take a relaxing stroll through the historic old town. Visit the large market square, the beautiful churches and the old port on the Wismar Bay.

A trip to the island of Poel? No problem, because this island is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Shortly before Kühlungsborn you pass through Basdorf. Climb the lighthouse and enjoy the breathtaking view over the Baltic Sea. If visibility is good, you can even see the island of Fehmarn.
Accommodation location: Rerik, Kühlungsborn, Bad Doberan or surrounding area
The highlight of today's stage is Heiligendamm, the oldest German seaside resort, and the Doberan Minster. In terms of landscape, the ghost forest on the steep banks of Nienhagen is a special experience. Take the Warnow ferry (incl.) to Hohe Düne. If you want to find out everything about amber, then it's worth visiting the Amber Museum in Ribnitz-Damgarten. There is also a show beekeeping nearby, where everything revolves around honey. When you have seen all this, cycle back to the Baltic Sea to your hotel on Fischland or stay in your booked hotel in Ribnitz-Damgarten.

Explore the seaside resort of Warnemünde, with its old captain's houses and its fishing boats on the Alter Strom. The wide and fine sandy beach invites you to swim.

Miles of white sandy beaches invite you to take a refreshing swim. Visit the art museum in Ahrenshoop, the exhibition at Darßer Ort or simply enjoy the atmosphere on the west beach. Discover the beautiful Darss villages of Born and Wieck on the Bodden coast and the lively Baltic Sea health resort of Zingst.
Accommodation location: Prerow, Zingst or Barth
You can choose to cycle along the reed-strewn Bodden shore via Born and then through the Darß forest to Prerow, or you can visit the fine sandy beach of Prerow.

Crossing the Meiningen Bridge, your journey continues along the Bodden lagoon to the Vineta town of Barth and on to the Strelasund. This leg of the journey is another scenic treat. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Bodden landscape and take time to observe the local birdlife. A detour to the observation tower in Barhöft offers visitors a panoramic view of the coastline of Darß, Hiddensee, and... Rügen.
