By bike and boat along the Danube - a very special experience, because your "floating hotel" is always with you! The impressive natural spectacle of the Schlögener Danube Loop, the fascinating landscape of the Wachau with its vineyard terraces, the untouched floodplain forests of the Donauauen National Park and the picturesque Hungarian Danube Bend alternate with pulsating metropolises such as Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. The wide river runs like a silver thread through Budapest and divides the city into the mountainous Buda and the flat Pest. You will love the baroque town of Vác with its colorful houses from the 18th century. Bratislava, the Slovakian capital at the foot of the Little Carpathians, invites you to take a long stroll with its enchanting old town. Fancy a little flirtation with Vienna, the city of the waltz? A firework display of sights, small, dreamy coffee houses and cozy wine taverns await you.

Individual arrival in Engelhartszell, approximately 30 km from Passau. Embarkation from approximately 16:00 PM to 17:00 PM. Overnight stay in Engelhartszell.

Overnight place: Engelhartszell

The bike tour through the romantic river landscape of the Danube Loop begins in Engelhartszell (Austria's only Trappist monastery), one of the most beautiful sections of the Danube with dreamy villages at the foot of lush green forested slopes. In Aschach you board the boat again and continue the journey by boat.

Today is time to discover the beauties of Vienna: perhaps the Hofburg, St. Stephen's Cathedral, the magnificent Ringstrasse boulevard with the State Opera, Burgtheater or the City Hall? At night, take a boat trip to Budapest.

In the morning, enjoy a fantastic view of the majestic landscape of the Danube Bend and the breathtakingly beautiful panorama of Budapest from the sun deck. Explore Budapest's countless sights or take a bike ride to the small artists' town of Szentendre, with its lovingly restored old town, numerous churches, and artists' galleries. At night, cruise to Visegrad.

The bike tour through the Danube Bend is also a trip into the history of Hungary. From the former royal seat of Visegrad, you cycle through the picturesque, gently rolling landscape across the Szentendre peninsula to the baroque town of Vác with Hungary's only triumphal arch. You return to Visegrad through small Hungarian villages. In the afternoon, you take a boat trip to Bratislava.

Arrive by boat in Bratislava in the morning. Today, explore Slovakia's small, vibrant capital. Tip:: Enjoy a wonderful panoramic view from the Pressburg and take a ride on the vintage train through the magical old town. Alternatively, you can explore the surroundings of the city along the Danube on a guided bike tour.
Night boat trip from Bratislava to the beautiful Wachau.

The rolling hills, characterized by charming villages, vineyard terraces, castles, monasteries, and ruins, have enchanted everyone. The blue tower of the abbey church, a landmark of the Wachau region, towers over the baroque town of Dürnstein. In the afternoon, the imposing Melk Abbey, one of Austria's most important baroque buildings, awaits you. You reboard the ship in Pöchlarn. A celebratory farewell dinner awaits in the evening. A night cruise to Engelhartszell follows.

Relaxed and rested, you'll arrive in Engelhartszell at approximately 09:00 a.m. Afterwards, disembarkation and individual departure for your homeward journey.

We recommend booking train connections from Passau from approximately 12:00.
