Protected by the mighty Velebit Mountains to the east and the Istrian peninsula to the northwest lie the islands of the Kvarner Bay. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters, you'll find secluded bays, green hills, rugged rocky landscapes, and historic little harbor towns. Experience the charm of the Adriatic in a very special way with a romantic motor yacht and bicycle. Your days begin with a hearty breakfast, setting you up to explore the diversity of the Kvarner Bay on guided bike tours. Whether it's the medieval town of Rab, the incredible diversity of the landscapes of Krk, or the tranquil life of the residents on the small island of Ilovik – every day brings something new to discover. We usually spend the evenings in picturesque harbor towns with winding streets, where a wide selection of bars and cafés offer the perfect place for a relaxing evening.

fuel surcharge

A fuel surcharge of up to 8% of the package price may be levied on this bike and boat tour. The final amount will be determined and communicated 20–30 days before departure. Payment: This arrangement is made directly upon boarding the ship. It is governed by §651f of the German Civil Code (BGB) and serves to adjust for current fuel costs of our service partners.

Individual arrival in Omišalj on the island of Krk. Embarkation takes place between 13:00 PM and 13:30 PM. At 14:00 PM, we begin our first cruise aboard the boat to Rabac on the Istrian peninsula. The coastal town is surrounded by crystal-clear blue waters, and numerous cafés along the waterfront create a welcoming atmosphere. Explore the surrounding area on foot and get acquainted with the boat and your fellow passengers. We spend the night in Rabac.

Today's cycling tour begins with a steady climb from sea level to the town of Labin. At the top, we enjoy our first views of the Kvarner Bay and its islands. We cycle through the picturesque Istrian landscapes and small rural villages before returning to Labin for lunch. After enjoying our first locally prepared meal, we descend to the boat in Rabac and continue our journey to the island of Cres, to its capital. A picturesque harbor town characterized by its Italian architecture, we spend the night here.

After breakfast, today's cycling tour begins, taking you from Cres Town to Martinšćica. Your ship awaits you for lunch and the crossing to the island of Lošinj. Weather permitting, you'll enjoy a refreshing swim before your ship reaches the old seafaring and spa town of Mali Lošinj, with its large harbor, numerous cafés, and colorfully painted house facades. Here, many lovely cafés and bars beckon for a sundowner on the lively waterfront promenade.

The extensive waterfront promenade, which winds along many picturesque bays, will take you to the southernmost part of the island and visit picturesque Veli Lošinj, where you'll reboard for lunch. In the afternoon, you'll then cross over to the island of Ilovik, where you can take a lovely stroll or enjoy a swim in the sea.

After the crossing, we enjoy a tour through the diverse landscapes of the island of Rab. Starting from the old town, the tour takes us through diverse landscapes, from coastal promenades to shady forests and secluded coves. After returning to the boat, we can enjoy some free time in this charming town before taking a guided city tour. We spend the night in Rab Town.

In the morning, we drive to Krk, the capital of the island of Krk, with its beautiful old town. A tour from Krk town takes us through the island's diverse landscapes, inland from the coast, through vineyards and small villages. Back in Krk, we enjoy the evening exploring the alleys with our guide and relaxing in one of the many beautiful terrace bars near the sea. We spend the night in Krk.

Cycle across the island's ridge, covered in fragrant maquis, into a valley of vineyards and reach the museum town of Vrbnik in the northeast. Built on a 50-meter-high cliff amidst vineyards, Vrbnik is home to the white Žlahtina wine. For lovers of superlatives, Vrbnik also boasts the second-narrowest alley in the world—a strolling challenge. The rest of the route takes you across the island through ancient villages and lush vegetation to Omišalj, with Rijeka within sight. Along the way, you can take a healing mud bath in the Bay of Soline. Afterwards, round off your eventful journey with a leisurely dinner and final evening on board. Overnight stay in Omišalj.

The wooden motor yacht Linda was rebuilt in 2006 specifically for the needs of island-hoppers. Wood-paneled guest cabins, three of which are below deck and eleven above deck, as well as a spacious, tastefully furnished saloon with wooden tables and benches, create a comfortable atmosphere. The Linda's beautiful outdoor area also offers ample space for relaxation. The large sun deck, with comfortable padded loungers, invites you to relax. In good weather, you can dine at the outdoor tables or, in the evening, reflect on an eventful day in a relaxed atmosphere. The crew, who have worked together for many years, take loving care of their guests and look forward to providing you with an unforgettable vacation.

changes: Due to varying wind and weather conditions, as well as organizational needs, we reserve the right to change the route. Occasionally, this trip will also be operated in the opposite direction.

Helmet compulsory: Helmets are mandatory on the bike tours. Please bring your own, properly fitting helmet. Rental helmets are available in limited numbers (reservation required).

Bike tours Through hilly to mountainous terrain, with some steep climbs up to approximately 400 meters in elevation. All tours, including the elevation gain, can be easily managed with electronic assistance. Requires confident riding on winding descents, uneven asphalt, and occasionally gravel paths. Suitable for experienced cyclists who are accustomed to longer daily rides.

  • Total increase: 400 - 700 m elevation gain per day
  • Road conditions: The roads are mostly paved and have little traffic outside of holiday seasons. On the island of Krk, a short section runs along unpaved gravel and forest roads. On the island of Lošinj, the tour leads along a narrow waterfront promenade, where particularly careful and appropriate driving is required.
  • Traffic: Traffic is to be expected within and around coastal towns. Some sections of the route on the islands of Cres and Krk are also somewhat busier.
  • Infrastructure: There are no designated bike paths in the Kvarner Bay. Bike tours take place on public roads, preferably quiet side streets.

The following applies to all levels: Safe handling of a bicycle and familiarity with road traffic are prerequisites for participation in our tours. All tours, including the elevation gain, can be easily managed with electronic assistance. Those renting an e-bike should already have experience and be confident in handling e-bikes, as these bikes are significantly heavier and faster than conventional bicycles.

Individual cycling
If you prefer to travel alone rather than with the group, you can cycle independently and at your own pace. For orientation, we'll provide you with access to the free RideWithGPS route app for your smartphone, a detailed cycling map, and GPS tracks. Your guides will cycle the same route as you. They'll be nearby and can be reached by phone in case of emergencies, problems, or questions. Instead of a cycling tour, you can also spend a half or full day swimming on the ship.

Language: Due to our international audience, our tours are often conducted bilingually, in German and English.
